Yeah…it’s a no for me, dog.
I remember why I said, “I’m not playing here for a year.” Tee boxes were shaggy. The fairways are rough (lost 4 balls in play because of it). The rough is heavy rough. The heavy rough is unplayable. Mowing crew needs to get to work!!!! Taking another year or so to come back.
It was good place for second round.
I had good time to play and finish 18th holes early so me and my friend played second round
Unkept Course
I played this course frequently 20-25 years ago. It was well kept then. Now it looks like they’re pocketing the money and not investing it back jnto the course. Won’t play there again.
Get some life in the greens
Course is very cheap for a round of 18 but still not worth 35 bucks. The greens were longer than the fairways and had patches of dead spots all over them. You couldn't make a putt if you tried so that ruined the experience for everyone.
Grass is growing !!
Green and T-Boxes getting green and nice !! Staff pleasant as always !! Just needs fresh cleaner and rags on ball cleaners !! Love Willow Springs !!
Greens? More like sand traps with holes.
I had fun but the greens are just horrible. They need to fix them instead of having a cart screen. Priorities!!!!
Willow Springs Golf course
This course is sadly in disrepair. The greens are in terrible shape. The fairways are not mowed as appropriate.
Serious work needed
The greens are atrocious! So bumpy with weeds growing on green. Impossible to put on.
No monitoring pace of play. Because of electronic monitoring system long walks on Par 4s.
The new ownership has doubled the price to play. Tall grasses on or near the fairways. Dosen’t look like it is mowed very often.
Greens Not Playable
We just added 2 strokes once we got to the green because they were in such bad shape. So, take a run at a one-putt, and never add a 3-putt.
Greens were in terrible shape
This is usually a nice short course, but the greens were in horrible shape. It was like putting on patches of dirt and weeds. Horrible
