Good coarse bad greens
I would really like this coarse if the greens where in ggood shape.
Willow has souch potential
I have such a soft spot for this track! They got ravaged by a fungus on the greens last year and are fighting so hard to get them healthy again. The staff is super helpful and polite. I know they are getting things turned around and this place will be a gem in no time. Just keep that in mind when you book and enjoy this fun little track. Keep supporting them so they can be a great little course again! I will be back soon.
Greens Horrible
Been coming here since before the fire. I really love this course…until last Sunday. The greens are atrocious. There is no putting whatsoever. Pitt a ball straight? Forget about it. There’s so many bumps and gouges on what’s supposed to be a green, the ball cannot go in a straight line. Not one green is ready for play and no one could tell us when they would be. I’ll avoid this one until the greens are better,
Course in flux
Last year the course was in bad shape, and it wasn't much better when I played this past Saturday, but I noticed the staff is trying to make improvements by aerating the greens and working on the tee boxes and sand traps. The greens were in bad shape, bumpy and weedy, but as said, they are working on the greens by aerating and filling holes with sand, etc. Probably a long way to go, but hopefully it will get better, because the course has potential.
Unless it was Winter rates still, the green fees are cheaper than last year. It was only $25 for 9, and $30 for 18. Pace was fine, but I played late afternoon, so not sure exactly how the pace was early because I heard it was crowded.
I would recommend because the price is good but be wary of the work in progress.
Early spring Willow Springs
Played this course a lot in the last 2 years. Most of the course needs work but it still offers great value for the money. Fairways and roughs in decent shape. Greens are really bad but they're trying to get them into shape. Bunkers improved from last year but still need grooming.
Needs Work
This course could be a lot... A LOT better than it is. The course feels run down due to the lack of maintenance. However other courses with bigger names over shadow this course.
Great place to get some practice in. Hopefully one day the course will look better than it did. However, the customer service, the great pricing and challenging layout keeps me coming back
For the price
Greens in worse shape I seen, can't put on them i could see if it was a few but everyone of them. They need to figure this out. Takes away from your golfing experience
Like this game
For the price I guess it's worth playing, greens in bad shape I mean everyone. So if you plan on keeping score it's not the place you want to be. Getting work on your short game that's all it's good for
Terrible
I don't understand how a golf course can charge for "greens fees" and have unplayable greens. The course has been going downhill for quite some time now. It used to be OK to play but I've played here multiple times and there's too many other, better courses in the area. Save your money.
Willow Springs
Solid course, kept in pretty good shape during winter months
