Westminster National Golf Course

Some holes were a challenge for the cart. Need more rubber on the tires for traction. Going up wooden steps, a hanging nail put a hole in the toe of right shoe. Some holes were not for the faint of heart. I am looking forward for another round next year.

Overall the course was in good shape...a few spots where you can tell the course has been played often this year but overall I was surprised and pleased with the conditions of the course. It has some challenging holes where you need to place your shots but isn't so difficult that it kills the fun. The greens were in great shape but man, they are tough with a couple of tiers or never-ending slopes! I'll be back again in the next week or so....

Carts were unsafe and in need of repair. Tires had no tread on them. Slide backwards on hole number 5 into briers and thrown out of cart. Staff responded with another cart in timely fashion.

It's been probably 6-7 years since I've played Westminster National...it was Bear Creek when I played last. The new management has put a lot of money in the course with the fencing on top of the walls on #9 and #18, new and improved landscaping, and the posts, ropes, and improved cart paths on #6 and #10. The course was in great shape, with beautiful green fairways. The only reason it's a 4 vs 5 rating is because some of the bunkers had water in them, the rough had some dirt holes where grass was not growing, and there were a large number of unrepaired ball marks on almost every green (of course, this is the responsibility of the players and not the course, but it is an issue). This course is extremely challenging--I'm not sure there is a level lie any place! And, with most of the greens crowned, it does present a challenge. However, if makes you work on your course management, and if you can play here I guarantee you can play most any course! We did let two different singles play through...they were very respectful and didn't press, but it was distracting especially since my friend had never played WNGC before. For $49 on a Saturday, it's a good value.

Course was in good shape despite all the rain for the past few days. Most bunkers did have water in them. Greens were firm and read true. I look forward to play again.

Overall a great round. Course was in pretty good shape but the tee boxes need work. Great value!

Of course, part of this is because I live 1.5 miles away. Even so, it is a challenging layout for the intermediate golfer. Course was in the best shape I've ever seen it! Areas freshly mowed that aren't usually. Great day out there.

No shortage of ignorant, nasty old men playing here. Snide comments are gonna get someone hurt. It's a good thing our group had some respect and courtesy or the day could have ended poorly for some old guys. Won't play here again because of that. Hope you enjoy your senior discount. Very much enjoyed my round at Westminster National yesterday. Was excited to shoot a 90 when just a month ago I broke 100 for the first time. Course conditions were great, staff was very friendly, fun course in general. A couple of the holes can be quite challenging with the dogleg design or slanted fairways but everything is very well maintained. I have never been one to spend more than $45 on a round; that being said this course easily ranks in the top 3 courses I have enjoyed for the price range

Played with my wife. We were paired with another twosome and had a perfectly enjoyable round. The course conditions were outstanding. The person at the desk, the starter, and the person at the grill were all very friendly and professional. The grill had $5 Orange Crushes as their Memorial Day special. I would highly recommend this course. You will not be disappointed.

Purchased a discounted certificate for a foursome and it was well worth the trip from Harford County. Each hole was different and some challenging for the average player. The course was in excellent shape. Definitely will play it again.

Love this course; wish it was a little closer to home, but its certainly worth a longer drive.
