Excellent condition
From tee to green the course was in great shape, the fairways rival many private courses and exceed many. A true gem. The course amenities leave a lot to be desired but hey it’s really all about the golf here. Well worth playing anytime you get a chance.
Course in Great Shape
Greens and fairways in great shape. Only gripe is they need rangers to speed up pace of play.
A true 5 star track
Green well manicured fairways , smooth accepting greens . Just beautiful overall condition. If you’re looking for an amazing 18 hole course this place is as good as it gets. New England golfing at its finest. A jewel.
Acusnett River Valley
First time playing this course. It was in great shape. The greens were a little slow but I adjusted quickly. The layout was very nice and the fairways were wide and allowed for slight miss hits to be ok.
A Step Back
Played out here a few weeks back and the course was in excellent shape except for the sand in the bunkers which is pretty sparse.
Now the bunkers still need some work, but the greens were a bit on the long side even though they rolled true. But the worse part was the pace of play. For some reason they sent us out on the back nine to start, and it turned into a 5 hour round with waits on every tee. I’ll be back because I like the layout and the golf rates are very reasonable. Maybe just picked an off day to play where the course wasn’t up to it’s past standards.
Great value
Beautiful layout and no frills - just good golf. In the woods until 12 then 5 links style holes mix it up and finish back to reality on 18. Great value and worth the drive.
One of my faves
This place is one of my go-to places. Always in great shape, only issue is amenities.
Hidden Gem
Well worth the 40 min ride. I heard about this course from several people and finally gave it a try. Only knock was the lack of clubhouse (out of a weird trailer). Pace of play could have been better but still finished in roughly 4.5 hours. Course is well maintained and it shows. Back 9 turns into more of a links style, which was not very challenging but still fun.
Best bang for your money
Coursei is in great shape with firm slower greens try to stay pin high because some of the greens have slope the pace of play can be on the slow do to amount of play
Excellent all around course
The course is in great shape. A good mix of holes that are fair and challengingly.
