Acushnet River Valley Golf Course

Starter was rude and obnoxious to my two guests.

Previously the starter was highly personable

Course was in excellent condition. Pace of play could have been a little faster. They need to build a new club house match the quality of the course.

Fairways and greens almost private club quality. Course layout fair and fun. Only issue is no real clubhouse, but for the golf part, it is excellent.

The best bang for the buck golf course that is alwys in great condition

Course was pretty nice. Not at the top of my list, but would definitely play again. A good course for.all.handicaps. Back nine is wide open.

They do a great job taking care of the course couldn’t ask for any better

With the 60 degrees days this month, it’s fair that the courses will be packed. But, 9 minute spacing between tee times is a bit absurd. I was supposed to tee off at 1050, we ended up going off at 11:10. 20 minute slow downs due to over filling of the tee sheet. Otherwise, this is a stellar track. The split 9’s are some of the best in the area. The turn had the grill running. Small selection of food and drink available. But, will be back to play here again.

Only gripe was pace of play. 4 hours should be enough time to play 18. The staff was awesome can't say enough. Great track will definitely play again

Course is in great condition and pin placements were in challenging but fair locations which made for a great game.

the rating all depends on when you play. the course is always in great shape. it is a good value. mixing a woodland course with a links style course is novel. i would say it is average in difficulty. course time management can be absolutely horrendous. there is a starter but no riding ranger to keep group moving. Never book on a holiday or weekend, unless late afternoon, like chasing sundown. my group ended the front nine waiting on the tee box for 5, yes FIVE groups in front of us. 3 hours, 5 minutes. putting that into perspective, we did not proceed to hole 10. We went back to 1 where we played the front nine again in 1 hour 22 minutes. Proceeded to play 10 thru 13 where we hit the jam again.

I would have given "course conditions" a 6 if I could. Needless to say, the course was in great shape. And at the price...Definitely a 5 star course!

Great course but was shocked of a Frost Delay but understandable. Play and Enjoy the course.
