About
Maplegate Country Club sprawls across 150 acres of gently rolling hills that are blanketed with forests of stately maple, oak, beech, and white pine trees. The golf course is situated just off of I-495 along the border between Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Although the location is seemingly isolated, it’s conveniently only 45 minutes from Boston. The course plays harder than it looks with a diverse layout that will test you with a variety of different shots. Maplegate Country Club's front nine features more target-style golf but you'll get to pull out your driver on the back nine. There are some tough holes, but it's not overly punishing for the high handicapper. The variety that the golf course offers made it the natural choice to host U.S. Open Qualifiers in both in 1998 and 2001.

Decent course
Very fast greens course is in decent shape staff is very friendly and accommodating

Big improvement
Ownership finally investing in course! Grounds in much better condition. Still needs work (cart paths) but improving. The other common sense thing they did is have spotters on holes with blind tee shots. Improves pace of play!

Great Shape...BUT
We have played this course before and its in great shape. But we booked a round on a Monday which turned out to be a holiday, Was charged a $162.00 for 2 with a cart, not happy with the price but we wanted to play. The problem turned out to be a overbooked course with a lot of waiting and a starter with a bad attitude. I have played harder courses that do not take 6 hours for 18 holes. We will be back but not on a holiday or a weekend.

Nice little track
Great little club. Nice big putting green with a clock next to it and onsite driving range. Challenging play but relatively forgiving greens. Starters and rangers kept somewhat brisk pace in the front 9 but the back 9 played super leisurely. Nice deck and bar, great hotdogs at the turn.

Maplegate CC
Very challenging course if you can’t hit the fairway. We went on opening day so it was very slow but the other times I’ve played there the pace of play was solid. The greens are awesome! Good course to go to if you wanna mix it up where to play!
