Maplegate Country Club
About
Maplegate Country Club sprawls across 150 acres of gently rolling hills that are blanketed with forests of stately maple, oak, beech, and white pine trees. The golf course is situated just off of I-495 along the border between Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Although the location is seemingly isolated, it’s conveniently only 45 minutes from Boston. The course plays harder than it looks with a diverse layout that will test you with a variety of different shots. Maplegate Country Club's front nine features more target-style golf but you'll get to pull out your driver on the back nine. There are some tough holes, but it's not overly punishing for the high handicapper. The variety that the golf course offers made it the natural choice to host U.S. Open Qualifiers in both in 1998 and 2001.

Maplegate CC Bellingham, Ma
Course at normal price is way over priced for condition. If I did not have the golfnow value I would have been really upset. Would not be in a hurry to go back. Other courses in the area are better and offer a better value. Because we were a golfnow group we were looked down on when signing in.
Used to be great
This course used to be a great one to play, the conditions are not as good, however, the previous owners were horrible, so at least that has improved.
Nice challenging layout, but in poor condition.
This course has hosted US Open qualifying in the past. Unfortunately, the course conditions have deteriorated significantly. I've played about 20 different courses in 2012, and the course conditions at Maplegate were the worst that I've experienced. Fairways had significant crabgrass and dead patches. Greens also had dead patches.
Nice layout but conditions could be better.
This course has a very interesting layout but the conditions need help. Too many tee boxes unattended to for too long. The greens are furry and very slow. Check in gentleman treats you as though you're bothering him when you check in. No "hello", no "welcome", just abrupt and unwelcoming. The other staff around the course were friendly.
A Challenging Course
Played midday on a very hot day in August but thanks to the deal I got through Golf.now It was great deal w/cart - A couple of the fairways seemed a little dried out due to the extreme heat we had that week but overall it was in fine shape.
For the Metro-west area of Mass this is a great course Highly recommended
Great layout
Loved the layout, but the front 9 greens were aerated and not in good shape
