Fun layout, 1st time here. Greens punched and over sanded, not a single putt rolled true. Should have been told beforehand. Otherwise an enjoyable day
Great track...
Great weather for a December morning. Nice driving range for a quick warm-up. The greens were aerated and were quite challenging to putt on. I booked through Golf Now with no warning regarding the conditions of the greens. We still had to pay the full rate...quite disappointing. The course is fair and has an excellent layout. One of our carts kept dying going up hills for the last four holes. Our other playing partners were able to push us with their cart when we ran into trouble...thanks goodness! Management should at least respond to these critiques and try to make these inconveniences right. Overall, good day to get out.
Sanded greens
I have played this course many times and have always enjoyed the layout. Upon arrival this time I was informed the greens had been sanded. There was no mention of this when I booked through the site. Needless to say it was very disappointing. There needs to be a warning on this site when these conditions are present.
Zzzzz
Slowest pace of play in years. Some holes there would be 3/4 groups occupying the hole. The club needs to hire a ranger to move golfers along.
The tun does not pass the clubhouse , the snack shack is gone and no food cart on course, saw beverage cart twice on 18 holes, nly one so should be one for front 9 an back nine in individually. Course was great shape, no rangers for pace of play but was not to bad, 4.5 hours but could of been quicker if people picked up pace and closed gap between groups, several holes wide open in front of groups.
Nice coarse
Nice coarse, great condition with nice views and challenging layout.
Tough Greens
Course in great shape, with lots of hills, elevated tees and elevated greens.
Greens rolled well but were very challenging with lots of breaks and very tough pin placements
Got a great deal and would play here again.
Classy public course
Play several times a year.
Always in super shape.
Need to learn how to play a couple of funky holes.
Better than some private courses in area.
Brookside Club
I feel lucky to have spent time at Brookside Club. The view from the patio was amazing and the food and drinks were enjoyable. The golf course is challenging but not impossible. The course is extremely well designed and maintained, like a private club. The staff was friendly. The practice facility was good.
