Slow no ranger and clueless starter
I like this course. We have played it before. It is not cheap so I expect to have a starter who is paying attention. The starter had no idea who was beginning the round and who was waiting. We just left after a while. The course was slow and there was no ranger. There was a 3 some in front of us who were taking multiple shots. One guy had no clubs. He was clearly a person learning on the course which is okay but not on a Saturday in the summer on cape cod. I would go back but only mid week. There was never a ranger in sight to talk to and these guys had no clue that they should have waved us through
We would do the course again. Lot’s of Blind Spots

10 years playing this course, I’ve never had a bad experience.
Conditions, value, pace of play, practice facility and restaurant are all excellent. Not the longest course but fun to play.
Hope they keep their prices where they’re at.

Brookside is by far the best of the best in all of south East Mass. With some of the best of Greens and Fairways. It is always kept up beautiful all season long into the winter. Highly recommend everything including the amazing food at the club house.
Great day at Brookside!
Brookside is as advertised, a public course with a private course feel. My golfing buddy and I had a great round, teeing off in the afternoon, and had a leisurely round with no one in front of us, or behind us. The greens were in good shape, but after a heavy rain the day before, they had grown a little and we’re not as fast as the practice greens. That said, the putts did not break as much as we I thought they would. The course is challenging and fair, and is well kept. Signature hole is the 10th, a par five that sits at the highest point of the course. Electric carts, and a great layout made for an enjoyable afternoon. We paid about $55 with a GolfNow coupon and we both agreed it was a good deal. Will definitely return to play it again.

Beautiful and difficult course
Have to keep the ball in the fairway which is not easy as no fairway is flat and straight.
