The Brookside Club

This is a great course that feels a lot like a resort play. I love everything about it, very nice shape, true greens, moderate challenge.

Only downsides, no drinking water on course, no bathrooms, no cart food.

I found the course fun and bit of challenge at times. Staff amazing from check in to starter to ranger to cart girl. I would definitely play again

The course was in great shape, and very friendly staff There are so many blind shots which is my only issue. However, it is challenging and overall a fun place to play. You absolutely need a cart for this course.

Considering the weather and the previous days before that, the course is in excellent,condition Was fortunate to play with 2 very nice members, who gave me alot of insight to the hills and bounces which are a huge part of the playing of the course. Greens were pretty quick considering, they must be scary fast in the summer. The course is challenging but good scores are available with good play

Arrived early for an 11AM tee, but as a single I was grouped with 3 others - "Members!" they stated. Indeed, what was a "Single", a Non-member and Golf Now stranger, doing joining them? After listening to their untoward comments, among themselves yet with enough volume to be generally heard, I told the Starter, Jack (wonderful gentleman who worked very hard to help make amends) that it was not going to be very enjoyable as a 4th with these charming "Members". Jack said he could get on next at 12:37PM, so I waited the 90+ minutes to play. As the course is truly a favorite of mine, albeit 50 miles from my home, it was a fine afternoon of golf (finally), but a disappointment regarding what occurred.

Love the course layout has it all but over 5 and a half hours to play is borderline torture . No ranger not happy only thing that made the day better was the excellent food and staff at the tavern which was our first time trying that out . Golf is supposed to be leisurely but this was ridiculous . The pro shop was more concerned about my confirmation number maybe should worry more about the pace of play.

Enjoyable day playing golf in February, the course was booked solid by all appearances but we never waited once on any hole. Pace of play was awesome, the course was in amazing condition for winter golf. The staff was very friendly and would recommend this course any time of the year. Fun track to play with some really nice holes. We played the white tees , next time I would play the blues. Our group ranged from an 8 handicap to a 20.

Booked the tee time through GolfNow. But got a call from Brookside that the course is closed. Someone needs to make sure the course is open before allowing tee times to be booked. It really messed up our golf planning, frustrating!

Also, we already paid the GolfNow convenience fee of $32. Not sure how to get the refund.

Spring, summer or fall this course is always in beautiful shape.

1st time playing. Overall, excellent course. Alot of blind shots. Next round will be better knowing the course

Brookside is beyond good course. It’s truly a great course. Every shot in golf is tested. A seemingly straight forward hole turns complex with any errant shot. Yet it still leaves you a chance at recovery with a precise risky shot. Course conditions are always outstanding with tight lies in the fairways. The greens are fast but fair.

I think another distinction for Brookside is their amazing staff. Consistently friendly and professional. It’s almost enjoyable paying the fees.

Plus their golf and grass knowledge is at the highest level.

Speed of play was above average.
