Nice course
Fun course and priced reasonably especially in the cape area. Some really good holes and course has always been in great shape. Only draw back is the homes they are building and have built over the years. On some holes they're right on top of you. Was a better course before that. Still worth the play.
Course is beautiful but poor layout and slow rate of play for par 70 size
One of the more beautiful courses on the cape but very challenging for first time course players. As it was my first time playing here, it is hard to say if it was a one time thing or it happens often but they had a wedding party with several attendees playing a round of golf. The front desk was courteous but did not tell us we were behind a group of 5 and several other large groups. Being a smaller course, a round of 18 should never take the 5 hours it took to play. No ranger to let a party of two play through. The course has a poor layout. The first hole is parallel to the driving range with no barrier in between which means the fairway was plastered with range balls. Due to the cramped layout, often we would end up driving our cart up to the next hole's tees without knowledge that the group ahead of us were still on them since many are in blind corners. Also, several holes would have the direction of play back towards a perpendicular cart path with blind spots, so we often found ourselves with balls landing very close us. The greens were fast and enjoyable but the slow play, bad layout, and shortness of the course (only two par 5s and the back nine mostly lower 300s for yardage), I don't intend to play the course again. It just felt like a fancy executive course to me. Might be fun if the play time was much shorter.
The Brookside Club
Our new favorite - superb Public course - Must Play when in the Cape
Cape Gem
We play this course a lot and love it. It is always meticulously maintained.
Nice course, friendly staff
Well kept course, friendly staff, ocean views. Greens are more challenging than many in area. Course can be challenging in layout, if playing for first time. Holes/ tee boxes need clearer marking. I enjoyed the round, and look forward to playing again.
Staff was great. Greens were wonderfully difficult.
We really enjoyed our time at Brookside. Coming from SC with many courses to play, it was nice coming back to Mass. Weather was fantastic.
Great Cape Cod experience
Friendly Pro checked us in. Tee time on the button. Unique lay out with many Condos surrounding fairways and a few greens. Player friendly, but difficult if playing for first time with a few blind tee shots required. One of the best Cape courses you shouldn't miss. Be sure to take in the great view at the 19th hole .
I will be back
always a positive encounter at the brookside club.
Brook side golf course
The course meanders through a condo complex and it seems your never not being watched bye someone residents with a suspicious eye like us gilet are inconvenient.
One of the things I always liked about the game is the feeling your mostly alone on each hole.
A cart is a must due to hills.
I saw the drink cart for the first time on 15. And you don't go bye the clubhouse until entire 18 is over. Not even a snack available.
Beautiful corse wrong place under staffed and seemed to be an afterthought to the condo units.
Love this course
The course is in great shape. Played from the tips and it is very playable. Use almost every club in the bag. One of my favorites.
An afternoon at the Brook
Everything at Brookside was terrific,a must play when on the Cape.
Very nice course!
The course was is superb condition. Very unique layout but fair. Only complaint is not too many chances to hit driver on the back
Great Track!!
Had a great day! The course was in great shape, beautiful course, great layout and greens were challenging and running true. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and accommodating. Didn't skip a beat, booked and paid through app hours earlier and straight to tee without a hitch. Will play again for sure, highly recommended
Very intresting layout
The course was in very good condition and the greens ran true. The layout is very challenging especially the front nine. Course knowledge is worth at least 5 strokes. Price was right inline with most courses (55.00). Clubhouse was fantastic, lunch was good as well. Looking forward to playing this course again.
Ride don't walk
Very hilly but interesting layout. Good mix of difficult and easy par 4s. Par 70 so scoring looks better then it feels. Conditions are good for public golf
A solid course with fantastic scenery and elevation changes
As the first course you hit once you come over the Bourne Bridge on to Cape Cod, the Brookside Club is all about scenery, location and elevation changes. The course is a little short playing only 6300 yards from the tips but with water features, elevation changes and doglegs it makes for an interesting round of golf. Condition-wise the course was in very good shape and I would recommend it as a stop on your Cape Cod golf trip. The club also has a fantastic restaurant and a sunset view that can't be beat.
considering the weather...
All was good except the attitude of the pro shop employee. He acted as if we were an intrusion to his smartphone use.
Brook side
Great course and club house
great conditions considering it was march in new england
considering it was march 23 on cape cod, the course was in excellent condition compared to other courses in the area. (we have had a very mild winter).
the course is very fun to play, with an interesting layout with good tee options.
i can't comment on pace of play, as the course was almost empty, and we played very quickly.
