Nice course...overpriced though
I love playing olde Scotland links, and it was in great shape. Each hole is unique. Now, saying that..this course is way overpriced. ...I got an early bird rate...so 52 dollars was a good value (18 holes w/cart)...but the price is normally 70 weekdays and 79 weekends for the same experience. And in doing the math, the cart price is 22 dollars per person....And the carts haven't been updated....Both Acushnet river valley and West Bridgewater Country Club offer better value
Great Deal
Great deal. Got the senior rate. Had perfect weather. Greens were a little quick but rolled true. I've always loved the layout.
Great value, fun course.
Nice links layout, pretty open so fairly forgiving if you can find your ball in the scrub. Very interesting holes, some that require thought and course management. Nice. staff, good restaurant. Would have given it 5 stars but the range needs improvement.
Conditions need dramatic improvement
I have been playing this course for many years, and I am continuously flabbergasted by the declining conditions. While I was hoping for better this Saturday, unfortunately, the conditions were poor and the pace was painfully slow. The fairways we incredibly shaggy and overgrowing. The greens were slow and bumpy. I had a number of putts bump off line--confirmed by my playing partners as well. The staff was friendly as always, my hat's off to them, but will not be back anytime soon. One positive note, they are making an effort to improve the dreaded 15th hole by clearing out some of the hazard out to the left of the fairway, thankfully!

I’ve been playing old Scotland links since they opened many years ago the course used to be one of my favorites great conditions always perfect greens in the last few years it has gone way downhill. I understand last year Covid was an issue but now everything is opening but the course still remains in very bad shape. Grass growing out of the bunkers clover other unwanted grass surrounding the second cut around the greens terrible shape prices go up and conditions go down !

Need rangers and benches
Course is great, they need rangers to manage the pace of play though. 5.5 hour round. No rangers in site and slow play.
Doesn't disappoint
As expected the course was in good shape. It offers a variety of challenges and is a course you want to think your way around. As many times as I have played it still haven't figured what club to hit off the tee on 15 to get as close to the water as possible to leave the easiest second shot, not that it is ever easy.
