Gardner Municipal Golf Course

Great buy and the course is in Excellent shape. Greens were fast but true. Played 18 holes in 4 Hrs. Could not have been a better day. We'll definitely be back again.

Pretty good condition for a muni course that gets a lot of play. Two very different nines. Front is mostly flat and fairly open except for hole 7. The back is many ups and downs and lots of trees. If you're walking, the last 3 holes will make you wish you took a cart - severe ups and downs. Greens relatively fast and in good shape. You will be challenged all day.

Have played several times on weekdays with no delays. Friendly staff, friendly golfers, most walkers stay on the front nine. Greens, traps, tee boxes in good shape. Grain cut on the fairways. Good layout, nice views.

Upon getting there I quickly found out that they were either overbooked or have a very slow play so we teed up 25 minutes after the reserved tee time
The course was very busy but also there was a group of youngsters with a couple of very young kids (five some, at least) which took forever in every hole so there was a lot more waiting that playing time.
It took us over three hours to play nine holes (in a golf course that shouldn't take more than three hours for 18) so it got dark before we had the chance to play the entire back nine and only could play 5 more holes thus I felt cheated on my deal
They were very busy but didn't have anybody as a ranger so it was a free for all type of day
Also, all the facilities were closed (bar, restaurant and rest rooms) so it was quite interesting to see people relieving themselves on the side of the building under the deck
All in all the golf course could be OK for the price that I paid but it wasn't a good experience

I got a great deal. Very windy day. The course was really busy. Many golfers looking to get their last round of the year in. Course was in good shape.
I found the course very challenging. Very hilly.

This is a fun course, with a nice mix of easy holes and tough holes. Greens are in excellent shape for mid-November.

Staff very friendly. As it was my first time playing I was given some tips on some of the holes and when I made the turn I received a check on whether I was having a good round. Really nice!

Course received 2" rain the night before, but it really did not affect play. They were not sending out carts, which was understandable. Wish i had one for the last three holes though. Greens were in very good shape given the time of the year and the rain. Fairways and tee boxes were in very good shape as well. I will be heading out there again to play. The course is easy to get to as it is off of main road after you exit Route 2.

The course was in great shape. This place has some great golf holes. I enjoy this course very much. I hope to get another round in before the snow hits.

Prepaid for round with carts. Was told we couldn't take carts because it was too wet, but were offered no refund of our cart fees. They said we could take it up with Golf Now. Course wasn't even that wet and could have handled carts easily.

The Hot Deal is a great price for this course. Course always in great shape. Greens exceptional.

Nothing great. Just always have a good time when I come here. There are a couple of challenging holes. Greens conditions not bad. Can't beat the Golf Now price.

I feel that these guys over book the course. And that they need to allow more 2 groups play instead of forcing those into 4 groups. Pace was extremely slow the slowest course i have ever played. Good thing I took away from this was that the course is in excellent shape

The course looks a lot tighter than it really is, that's because whoever is directing the mowers is telling them just mow down the middle, and that making the course look tighter to the eye. On the back nine, make sure you have your climbing spikes, because you'll need them with all the steep hills, plus that combined with small greens makes it very challenging. One more thing pace of play is slow!

Enjoy the course and layout, but had a group of 4 elderly women in front of us (2 some in a cart) and at no point did they let us play thru. After 5 or so holes we skipped a hole to get in front. The rest of the round was smooth sailing

As municipal courses go this one is very nice. A little bit of everything as some holes are easy and some offer a good challenge. Overall condition is well above average for a city run course.
