Need Rangers !
The course is always in great shape, however , they NEED rangers to keep the pace of play in check. We originally had a twosome in front of us, but on the 10th hole , the group in front of them (a foursome) let them play ahead. My biggest pet peeve is play to your ability! This 4some were hitting from the white tees and definitely should not have been playing these tees ! Every hole they played in at least 20 plus minutes! We finally skipped a hole on back 9 and saved at least an hour on our round! These guys were clueless in playing ready golf and should have been told to speed up their play, but it was not worth getting into it with them ! No courtesy whatsoever!
Nice track
Greens were punched 2 weeks ago and the holes were big enough to effect every Putt.Its always in good shape but not going back until the greens heal.

Halifax CC
Great course with well kept fairways and greens. The staff is always friendly, pace of play solid, and the layout is fun/enjoyable. One of the better courses in the South Shore!
Great value
Great choice for all golfers. Course is very challenging and great shape for this time of year. Staff was very friendly and made sure all my needs were taken care of. I look forward to playing this course again soon.
Always Great
Always have a great experience at Halifax Country Club. The improvements they’ve been making around the course and clubhouse really show. Friendly staff, well-maintained greens, and a great place to spend a day golfing with friends.
Try something else
The course is ok, but in terrible shape. Staff limited, only saw the person in the pro shop.

Greens, a bit firm, but rolled very well even a bit fast. Fairways, Tee boxes great. Bunkers were a bit packed down. Pace of play on a mid morning (Sunday) was very good.
Halifax
In general Halifax CC is a great course and the staff are very friendly which is rare these days. Even though the course conditions were a little rough it was expected, the greens were surprisingly enjoyable and I look forward to coming back this summer.
Misty & Cool
Proshop let us out earlier since course wasn't as busy due to weather. Layout is nice & open. Pretty flat & plays long, 6200 plus from Whites. Greens were quick.would play course again.
Staff Experience Is Great
This Course Plays Long From White Tees 6482
Not A Lot Of Hazards But The Course Length Makes It Tough , No Elevated Greens , A Few Elevated Tee Boxes, A Few Water Hazards The Bunkers Play Tough In The Late Season , Fall Winter or When Wet. Go Play And Enjoy !
Worthwhile
Good choice for almost any golfer. White tees provide plenty of distance and challenge for the average player. Good course to walk. Two putting is difficult on many greens. Through all kinds of difficulties over the years, the course has been maintained at a good level. I usually expect above average conditions here.
Great Course!!
This course is always fun to play, the fairways and greens are always fast roll very true. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. I play here often and will continue to come here over other courses in the area.
Another track gone
I’ve been playing this track for years. It was a hidden gem that allowed public play. I played it for the first time this year and they had the balls to charge 95 dollars. This track is destroyed and what a goat farm this turned into.
Greens were horrible, traps with no sand, fairways were horrible. This is another course that is now doomed. Don’t waste your money as they charged 95 dollars. Clearly having a cash flow problem and all members have jumped ship. Course is run by teenagers and they have no maintenance at all. My heart is broken as this was one of my favorites because of layout and shape. There was 1000 people on the course and stray golf balls everywhere so it’s now a hack n shack. No food served, no booze in the drinks. Pathetic and the place should just go under and be turned into housing projects or whatever it is has coming to it. I’ll never step foot on that place ever again until it’s under new management and maintenance
Great golf course
this course has awesome fairways, the greens were very well maintained as well, smooth as glass.
The course was amazing overall, I will highly come back and recommend anyone who wants to play here.
