Course in great shape now
Waverly is money right now. If you can get a tee time, play.
perfect day of golf
we played saturday fathers day weekend and had a great day. course is immaculate. everything great - pace of play was good, staff great, surprisingly good food and drink for the smallish pro shop. a true gem.

Mgmt always rushing the golfers
It was not an enjoyable round. For the fifth consecutive time playing there, the marshal told us to pick when we had been waiting on nearly every shot on the group in front.
No one was around when we waited for them to make drinks on the 7th tee.
They all hit bad shots and didn’t finish hole 13 and Waverly expects us to rush and catch up? That is not the way to treat paying customers.
I will not return to Waverly and I will be sure to let others know what the experience will be like.

While we do not want any of our guests to feel rushed, we do ask that all groups keep up with the group directly in front of them for the benefit of all groups behind them. Women-Friendly Course
We played the course for the first time this week. Everything was in good condition. Mark and Joe were very helpful and overall this course is more women-friendly than some of the others around. This is probably overlooked by every male golfer, but we notice!

a good course ..
It’s been a while since we last played together at this course. Overall, the golf course was kept in a nice condition. The only thing we weren’t too fond was this starter who was really grumpy and taking his work ‘Way Too Seriously’ .. it felt like we were approached by a drill Sargent or something .. have fun folks

Bringing this to my attention will give me an opportunity to address our Starters on their tone when addressing customers on the tee - we understand the necessity of how one presents themself to our guests and will do better in the future. Absolutely top notch
The course is in great condition at the moment really nice. But I really want to compliment the staff in this particular review. I play at least once a week in the summer and was, at one time, a member at Waverly. Since the new managers came in this year, there has been a noticable change in atmosphere at the course. The staff seems to be happier and more flexible. Suggestions are taken seriously, and pace of play seems to be a higher priority (I know it’s impossible to always have 4 hour rounds, but there is an obvious effort to fix slow play when it does happen, and the couple times this year my group got stuck behind slow movers, the staff made us whole. This wasn’t always the case.) finally your restaurant is great as well.
