Can't Wait To Go Back!
Staff was friendly as well as helpful. Nice practice areas for putting or chipping and a driving range. Loved the course layout, but it is not an easy layout haha. Greens are quick but rolled true for me. I believe my video is from the 16th tee box. Maybe 15th?

I feel like being the pristine course in Howard county that we wouldn’t be rushed to keep up pace of play or be asked to skip holes when you are paying weekend money on a weekday. Our pace of play was not slow at all but we kept getting sent messages to hurry up or skip holes all together. It was very annoying and classless.

In this instance - our Player Assistant had asked your group to pass a hole following pace-of-play messages and a visit to your group. With two holes open in front on busy day, and groups behind you, your group had fallen about 20 minutes behind the designated pace of play. On a day with all tee times booked, unfortunately this will lead to 5+ hour rounds.
We simply ask all groups to keep up with the group in front of them for the benefit of all groups behind them.

Spring in February
Played Saturday 2/12. Course was in great condition. We had a great round. Staff is very accommodating, we played fast considering CPO. Greens were the highlight of the round. Very fast and true. Unbelievable round for winter.

Challenge Beauty Value
When I saw the weather report and Waverly Woods’ availability, I jumped. How can you beat almost 60 degrees, sunny, and barely a breeze at the beginning of winter for a round of golf? But the course had to match or beat the weather if you’re going to enjoy the outing playing your favorite sport. You know they maintained that course when there were no leaves to push out of the way on the greens and none to hide your ball even on the rough. So, what else is left to celebrate? The pace of play of course. You would think that 3 better than average players would be stomping over the foursome in front of them constantly. Nope. I don’t think we caught up with them more than a few times and finished the round in barely passed 4 hrs. The only damper to be mentioned was the aeration that took place about 2 weeks earlier which took way very little from the overall great experience of the day. Hats off to the friendly staff and the management for keeping the course enjoyable even in early winter.
When I play it during the normal golf season, I’m sure I’ll give the course 5 stars. Aeration was the only reason I didn’t rate it that. Without it, the course won’t stay in top condition.

Really, really nice
Our round was today. Waverly woods is a great course, up with whiskey creek and bulle rock. The course was in excellent shape, really challenging. We played our round surprising fast for a day with gorgeous weather. The gentleman on the course who helped me look for my ball in a stream (John... Ron... Don?) was very helpful and we saw him several times during the round. He didn't have to do that but he did. Nice to see a marshall on the course even in winter. Greens were fast even though they had been done, and the fairways RUN. I appreciate the gps on the carts.
