Waverly Woods Golf Course

This course has different types of holes. Holes with hills and elevation, holes with water and some very long and forgiving holes. Overall very nice course would definitely come back

For early in the year - course was in very good shape. Dollar value was comparable to both Baltimore City and County premium courses. Course layout was a little more demanding (elevation changes) than the premium courses but very enjoyable. Overall a very nice change of pace from the muni courses in and around Baltimore.

Staff wouldn't let us out early even though very few tee times were booked that day.

Course was in really good shape but the greens were running pretty slow/bumpy, which was to be expected with the weird weather we've had this year

I had played here once before early 2016. I remember enjoying it then. I found the greens pretty challenging then, and I did this time too. I plan on going back with a few more rounds under my belt. I'll recommend checking it out.

Normally this course would be above my price range. I played here because of the golf now discount. Nice course, in good condition. I found it to be a easy course from the tee box, but tough on and around the greens. What stood out most to me was how friendly the staff was. Very professionally run course.

No better way to start the new year than playing on New Years day. This was my first visit to Waverly and our group played in about four hours even with cart path only. And I picked up a new driver for $150 on clearance sale. One of my favorite things about this course is the layout- every hole is completely different. Can't wait to play it in the summer!

Great course in great shape, even for the winter. Outstanding service as I was asked to switch out the cart after 9 holes as they were worried about the charge lasting given the cold temps, but we had no problems. Love the layout as it makes you think your way around the course.

This course is unfriendly in every sense of the word. Mean staff, poorly maintained course, too expensive for the value, and the rangers drive by as you're trying to hit your ball.

You charge like a upscale course, yet you're a mediocre facility. You'd be better off at diamond ridge or timbers of troy. And that's saying something.

The gentleman who I believe is the general manager strikes me a condescending and rude. The course is fine, but many of the staff are rude and can't be bothers. I've heard many times from people that this place treats its employees very poorly, and I noticed a clear runoff management violation near their cart storage area.

Stay away from Waverly Woods.

Overall this course is in great condition. Playing this course for the first was challenging for me. I just did not know where to hit the ball sometimes. It would have been helpful a hole layout on the back of the score card. The Driving range was nice however the condition of range balls was disappointing.

Waverly Woods in great shape! Beautiful! Greens are awesome & extremely difficult! Lots of breaks! Enjoy it!

I've played here beginning from when the clubhouse was a temporary trailer! The course was great then and has only matured wonderfully! Always in top notch condition. We played as a 2some on a Wednesday afternoon and finished in about 3 and 1/4 hours.

Greens rolled true and a bit on the fast side. Expect rough that is not too high but very thick!!

My only observation is that the fairways could've been a little more generous on some holes. Players new to the course should be aware that there are many blind shots here and locating balls in the rough can be a time consuming task.

All in all its a really nice course!

The layout is challenging and the length is up to you. Plenty of tees to choose from. Course was in very good shape. Keep it in the fairway because the rough is cut on the high side (at least compared to other local courses). The greens were very fast and true. My only gripe was the pace of play. A mid-afternoon round on a Thursday should not get close to four hours. The twosome I was paired with bailed after eight holes to skip ahead or go home. They couldn't take it any longer. Otherwise, a good day.

The course was in awesome condition despite of all the rains and the heats during this summer. Rough was so tick and barely find any bare spots. Fairways and greens are in great condition, the best that I seen entire year since the summer.

The tee shot seems to be very tight but don't be intimidated, there are plenty of landing zone so that you will find your balls. There are lots of blind shots - you need to plan on your tee shots and anticipate that the ball will roll out based on the slopes of the fairway. Make sure that there are couple bind holes that you should control your tee shots. If you play there for the first time, please look in the back of the score card for those holes that you need to use other than driver.

Traveled from Atlanta to BWI for business and managed to get a round in on Sunday. The course was on excellent condition all around... It was a car path only day, and we still managed to get the round in under 5 hrs... The greens had been recently aerated, but the roll was still good. Fairways and first cut were all nicely groomed. Being 15 min away from BWI, I'll make sure that I can log in another round in the near future. Nice course!

First time playing this track. Course was in very very nice conditions. Attention to detail was evident. Fairways were immaculate.

Pretty good layout. Wide open enough to spray it without huge penalties but need to be accurate to put yourself in attack positions. Rolling hills, some forced carries, a set of tees for anyone.

Played as a twosome behind a bunch of 3-4somes and the pace was not bad at all. Quick electric carts, smooth paths.

Would have been five stars but for the fact that there was not an aerification alert and the greens were very recently done. Big holes and more sand was needed to fill them. Was difficult to judge pace while playing a still pretty fast game of plinko.

Would like to return and give it a go when the greens have healed.
