The par-5 5th is a great risk/reward hole if you're brave enough to take on the fairway bunkers. Photo submitted by Back9Ben on 05/22/2020

Golfer Reviews
Worth the Drive
I drove about one hour to play today and dispute the brutal heat I enjoyed this track . I have not played here in years , and it was just as good as I remember it . Great job by all !
Beautiful, well manicured course with good pace of play
Great layout, each hole is unique. Lots of water, true greens, challenging rough. Perfectly manicured, though drainage is slow. Pace of play was steady- had to wait to tee off only on 3 or 4 holes. Never more than 1-2 minutes. Rangers keep groups moving. Given course difficulty, very few (if any) beginners. Free range to warm up. Will be back!
It’s been years since we played Crump n Fox Grounds crew doing a great job… course in very good condition. This is a beautiful track. Golfers are rewarded if each shot is considered carefully! Beautiful patio and good food,
Great course, great condtions
So picturesque! Carved out of the woods, this is a fantastic track. They said it was going to be wet, with all the recent rain, but conditions were fantastic. I travel over an hour to get there, and it's worth it every time!
Great Course. BUT
I booked a time. Cart Included. Drove 2 hours from home to play. They say it’s walking only. That course is not meant to be walked . Especially in summer. Lots of inclines. Distance between holes. It’s a visually stunning track. But not too walk. And even day I attempted to play I looked on GolfNow and they had bookings with cart included. So basically a waste of time and money to try to walk that. Walking to 3rd tee is like climbing K2.
Always have a good time playing here but communication thru sit was a miss this time
I guess people that made tee times directly with clubhouse got an email stating that it was strictly walking this day. It's understandable as we've had a lot of rain. However, I wasn't told until I asked for a key for the cart I PAID for. It was 90° and high humidity and sun on this somewhat hilly course. Fat old guy was struggling across the finish line. Still course was in great shape but easily the worse time I've had there. I will return as I see it as a small mister but TO should realize room for improvement
Great course, don’t walk it
After booking the course became walking only the day we played. Usually not a problem but this course was clearly designed to be played with a cart; very long paths between holes, the front nine was basically hiking a small mountain. Beautiful course, can’t wait to play again with a car.
Excellent course
This course is fantastic on every level. Staff was very friendly. Course well maintained, greens challenging. I had so much fun playing this course, I can’t wait to play it again. Definitely worth the ride!!
Slice of Golf Heaven
A thoughtful mix of sand, water and elevation changes. The fairways are well manicured, and the greens were in excellent shape. If golf courses have curb appeal, this one knocks it out of the park.
2nd Time Around
Played for the first time 2 days ago and decided on returning as I did not play as well as expected. Much better the 2nd time around as I was more at ease with getting the required angles to approach the greens which angled away from you or had pins tucked to the sides. Tough but enjoyable. Too bad the $ is a bit high but it looked like they were not lacking on golfers wanting to play the course.
If you suck anywhere...which I do..youll suck here too, but, very much more so here. This is my new favorite course. I wanna sell my house and buy the 1970's house at the 17th hole par 3. Seriously. Make me an offer
Challenging Gem of a Golf Course
Crumpin Fox is better maintained than some private country clubs I’ve played. The staff is friendly and helpful, the layout is challenging, and the greens are superb. The greens are quick and undulating, roll true, and in excellent shape. Lunch at Zeke’s on the deck is a great way to sit back and reflect on the day’s play. I continue to come back despite the 90 mile drive, the place is fantastic.
My new favorite golf course.
Every hole is a gem. Great golf course. Can’t wait to return.
MUST PLAY in New England
Great course.... prefect conditions already...great layout...greens roll fast and true... challenging but fair.
Right up there with Red Tail, Pinehills and any other A List course.
One of the BEST courses you can play in New England for sure!

Exceptional experience!
While the course was is a fantastic layout and in beautiful shape the staff was the highlight is the day. The treatment was exceptional. Would and will return to Crumpin. Fox very soon!
Thank you!
