Crumpin-Fox Club

This track may be a little out of the way for most, but it is worth the time and effort to get there. The scenery is just breathtaking and lends itself to some very challenging holes.Now with the addition of the new Pro and staff, it will only get better! They were well organized and prepared to receive all 144 Safari Club members. It could not have gone any smoother!

Played the course last Wednesday (6/1) withe the Safari Club and enjoyed the course immensely. The course was in great shape and the staff is top notch. Worth a trip anytime.

Played this last Wednesday with the Safari Group. We had a perfect day and the course was in top condition. The greens were the best that we've experienced so far this year. Pace of play was slow, but it was attributable to the fact that we had a full contingent on every hole and the difficulty of the course. Staff was accommodating to all of our needs -- very courteous in every way. I highly recommend this course.

This is a definitely a course which you'll play many shots differently, the 2nd time you play it , as it is a classic risk/reward golf course!

Middle handicappers, You don't want this to be your 1st round of the season, so, play a scoring friendly course or 2 before coming up to the Fox!

You won't find many other public, or semi-private courses in New England, which are as well maintained as Crumpin' Fox!

The staff is as friendly as it gets in the industry, too.

Bring your "A'-Game", plus an extra 1/2 dozen golf balls or so....and come up to Crump to enjoy the scenery, pristine conditions and golf the way it should be !! It's been a top rated course in New England for as far back as I can recall and rightfully so.

Easily one of the most consistent courses at delivering a top quality day of golf from start to finish, anywhere you go.

A must play, for low to mid-handicappers.

Played with the Safari club, had a great day at a beautiful course. Fairways and greens in great condition. Fast greens and high degree of difficulty staying in the fairway

I had great time playing this challenging course with our group. The course was in great shape and the staff was most accommodating.

Played with the Safari Club, 140 golfers. The bottom line is this is one of the best of New England.

I recently had the privilege of playing Crumpin Fox in Bernardston, Ma., with the Safari Club. Our greens fees included use of the driving range, a warm-up that was necessary for this challenging course. The staff and the facilities are top-notch and it makes one feel very comfortable there. The course is in excellent shape and the scenery is gorgeous. Not a layout for the faint of heart, I lost a couple balls in the water and a couple in the brush, but I had a great time. If you are a high handicapper, you probably will not score well, but the experience is well worth the reasonable cost. Check it out.

I played with 144 golfers of the Safari Club which is a organization which plays different courses during the summer months. This year it is donating money to Shriner's Children Hospital in Springfield, Ma. The course management and the Pro Shop staff were extremely organized and had all the carts set up for beginning of play. They offered free range balls to use before teeing off for play. Everything went perfectly from the speed of play and the condition of the course. The kitchen staff had prepared a buffet for us at the end of play which was very satisfactory. This course is highly recommended for large group outings.

If you are looking for challenging golf, a beautiful setting and a 19th hole that satisfies, play at Crumpin'.

Recently played there with The Safari Club and had a spectacular experience. One of New England's finest.

The coures is in perfect shape all the time . The greens are slik try not to be above the hole .

Didn't find any issues with the track except a few pebbles in the bunkers , i guess i should have stayed out of them.

The staff was the BEST on course attendants/ rangers were very helpful and courtious .

Crumpin Fox was at its best this week. Hosting a full field of Safari golfers did not pose any difficulty. The staff was great and helpful and always around on the course on their segues. The course was in excellent shape, the food was excellent. All around a great day.

My husband and I played here with the Safari Club, it was my first time his 3rd. The course was in excellent shape, fast greens and fast play. The buffet after was Delicious with a large variety of foods. Staff was top notch! Can't wait to go there again!

This course is special. It is tucked away down a long drive, in a beautiful setting. Each hole is separate with little sight of other holes or road noise. Many have narrow fairways with sharp turns and hidden views, so it helps to have played it before! Greens are immaculate and fast. Club house has a gorgeous covered porch and good food and drink. Staff is great and welcoming.

I have played this course many times in the past and it has always been a pleasure but with the Safari Group this year I found the course to be in the best shape in many years...Kudos to the the superintendent and his staff...and with new head Pro Jim Mcdonald and his staff being great hosts, it is definitely a return course to play

I played on Wednesday 6/1 with the Safari club. We had a spectacular experience with the staff, more than friendly and very helpful. Throughout the round staff members were travelling the cart paths making sure that everything was ok and if there was anything they could do. I had a great day and have already recommended this course to many others.

The Safari Club travels to this special location each year. Interestingly enough, as good as it has been any year we've played there, it actually seems better the next.

The course is in fabulous condition and with their new PGA professional - longtime pro Jim McDonald at the helm, it might even get better yet.

I love the beauty of this course. We played with The Safari Group and even though there were 2 groups on each tee box we moved along. This is a very challenging course. Jim McDonald, as always, was very welcoming and friendly and the weather was perfect. A great day all a round.
