The par-5 5th is a great risk/reward hole if you're brave enough to take on the fairway bunkers. Photo submitted by Back9Ben on 05/22/2020

Not worth the hype
I wasn't told that the course was going to be cart path only prior to arrival. Pace of play was ridiculously slow. It took over 4.5 hours to get to the 14th hole. There was no ranger or marshall in sight to assist with the pace of play. Having to park on the cart path and then walk to your ball to determine which club to use and then walk back to the cart to grab the club I wanted didn't help with keeping things moving considering, from what I observed, were cart friendly fairways. This is not the first time I've golfed here but I won't be rushing back to play another round.
Did not disappoint. Truly amazing layout. Played long and soft due to recent rains; cart path only. Play it if you can!
Golf Heaven
Forecast was for 1” rain and thunderstorms. Never happened. We played course by ourselves in 3 hrs. My friends and I make this pilgrimage every year. Just love this course. Go there, you will love it.Layout is one of the best I’ve played. Conditions are always excellent.
In some holes difficult but I think a very fair course.
Love It!!
Course is rated one of the top 10 courses in mass. The greens were quick and smooth, fairways green and tee box groomed.
Was able to safe $10 using GolfNow compared to the club website.
I would definitely go back especially closer to fall.
Nice Golf Experience
Good restaurant, fun layout, challenging greens. Maybe not *quite* worth the cost.
Best Public Course in the State
No matter where you are located in Massachusetts, The Crump is worth the drive. Outstanding course conditions and the layout is phenomenal. I can't wait to go back.
Great course
Not easy but fair. Great condtions, greens were perfect. Most plush seated carts of any couyrse I've ever played. A downer to get in my car seats after!
Beautiful Course
It's a tad pricey for what you get (no GPS on the carts, for example), but it's a nice place. Greens are VERY small and hilly, lots of woods and water.
Hidden Gem
Thoroughly enjoyed my first visit here at this wonderful golf course. It was a challenge to play with the thick rough and well protected tiered greens but keep the ball in the fairway and you have a decent chance to put up a good score.
Also enjoyed a great GN deal which made a first trip here manageable but I will be returning soon for a “revenge match” against the Crumpin-Fox!
Also, can not say enough about the wonderful staff in the clubhouse, the Starter, the beverage cart gal, course workers etc…They were all so cordial and friendly I felt as if I were at a private Country Club golf course. Many thanks for their efforts that did not go unnoticed or unappreciated.
A must play course
Worth the drive and effort to play Crumpin Fox. The only ding I have is hitting from mats on the range. Seems out of place for such an outstanding venue.
Great conditions, fun course.
This course is a little out of the way but worth the drive. It offers a variety of shots, elevation changes, water hazards, deep bunkers. It plays long, big greens, lush fairways. If you get a chance put it on your list.
Amazing Experience
Course is beautiful from tee to green. Arguably one of the best public courses in Massachusetts.
Great track
Today's round was a little slow, but the course is in fantastic shape. Best track in Mass.
