About
Bay Pointe Country Club was known as Wareham Country Club when it first opened in 1964 up until 1988 when it underwent a major renovation, including the construction of the island green seventh hole, which is the golf course's signature. The club underwent yet another multi-million dollar renovation in 2012 when the club changed ownership. In the most recent renovation, hundreds of extraneous trees were cleared from the fairways in order to get it back into pristine condition. Although it's a seemingly short layout at just over 6,200 yards from the back tees, it actually plays much longer. The first two holes are laid across the hilliest portion of the terrain. Though you have a challenging start, the rest of the Bay Pointe golf course eases into a gentler landscape.

Horrible
Fairways have lots of dirt, sand trap have no sand but a lot of weeds, tee boxes are in terrible shape. I have plated this course manytimes prior to 2018 and it was always fun. Now it is in terrrible shape. I hope that once the build out of homes on the course is done that there will be a focus on bringing back the course. My recommendation is to pick a different course in the area until this one has been brought back from the dead!
Place has lots of potential
Played on Father’s Day. 77 bucks for 18 with cart due at clubhouse. Pace of play was great took under 4 hours for a full round. Fairways and rough need some work and a lot of attention, lots of issues with growth and a ton of sand everywhere. Bunkers were In poor condition, lots of rocks in them and could use some fresh sand. Greens were great except they were recently aerated. Pretty slow but very bumpy. Cart paths were non existent. Couple years and the place could be a gem.

Winter golf at its best. Alway enjoy playing bay point. Today 40 degrees, greens holding and putting true. Can’t wait till next time
With the exception of the preposterously-designed numbers 1 and 17, this course is great. My favorite value in the area and pace of play is always solid.
good off season conditions
haven't played in over 7 or 8 years and happy with course. There were no wet areas, and the greens were rolling excellent. fairways had some give even though late December. Would recommend for a winter round just off Cape.

except for some leaves in fairways course in great shape&greens were in excellent shape very smooth roll& had a nice thanksgiving sandwich wrap after.
NCCGA Event
Scott and his staff are always welcoming to our NCCGA golfers. This course is recommended by students in the New England region and is a good test of golf. Looking forward to hosting here again soon.
