All tees marks were removed and there is no reference on the distance when tee off. Cart was not included for this HOT deal. Add $40 (2 people) cart fee at check in, which I don't consider a HOT deal anymore.

golf now error?
got the hot deal and saw cart included, when got t the course the receipt says walking. I was well aware when i purchased the hot deal that cart was include, most of the hotdeals on golfnow includes cart, ended up paying 20 bucks more for 1 cart for 2 people.
Food
Amazing course, staff, and friendly golfers. Overall experience was great. I wished the kitchen was open for food and drinks. That was the only downfall.

Need better staff
The course was in great condition especially since it was pouring rain. The clubhouse employee ruined the fun day of golf though. Let me set the scenario for you. Showed up early due to terrible weather conditions, there was nobody else on the course, my brother and I went in to pay. The employee ran my card for 18 holes and a cart. Then by his decision he said let me credit back the charge and only charge you for 9 holes, if you end up playing 18 you can come back and pay for the second 9 after your done. I knew we were playing 18 but before I could tell him that he had already did the refund. We played 18 and were soaking wet, we knew we had to pay the additional fees but wanted to head to get a towel and dry shirts on. As soon as the employee saw us he came running out of the clubhouse saying “hey you need to pay for the second 9 you only paid for 9” . He was rude and accusatory in both his actions and his words. At 58 & 60 years old we weren’t about to screw anyone out of a measly $22. I went in and gave him my card which he had already ran for the full amount and then refunded some because of his choice. Then my brother and I were looking at the shirts they had and he yelled to my brother “hey big guy you owe me for 9 holes too”. His attitude and demeanor ruined what had been a fun round despite it pouring all day. We play twice a week at different courses and try to play year round no matter the weatherand have never been treated like this. We both walked away saying we loved the course but will never play another round there because of how he treated us. There is plenty of courses to play in the area that appreciate their customers and they will get our business from now on.
To make matters even worse I went online today and checked my credit card app. Guess what they never even did a credit or adjustment to my first charge so I actually am being charged twice for the second round. Unbelievable….. terrible courtesy and thieves all wrapped into one. Stay away from this course
Considering the bad weather and lack of others playing, the "staff" should have thanked us for the patronage instead of chasing us down before we even had a chance to dry off. Rumor has it this was one of the co-owners. Makes the decision to never play here again under any circumstance an easy one.

Golf at butternut
Greens were in awful shape, the cups were all heavily damaged, and dirt patches next to greens. The course does have potential to be nice, However right now it's in disastrous shape...bunkers were awful a full of huge stones...course needs a lot more love

Tight, short and really good greens for a public course. Only $44 to walk during the week. It is a bargain.

The course was fun to play even though the course was aerated ☹ members are SLOW and will not let you play through, so be ready for a 5 ½ hour round or more. I would play this again but I would check when the last member goes out.

Don't plan on playing in a reasonable amount of time
Ive had to leave this course without finishing 3 times this season because pace of play is so play. We won't be returning anytime soon or ever..it's to bad because to do like the course but I can't sit and wait on every shot.

A good course!!!
I always enjoyed this course, although I have never played it well. It requires you to be very accurate off the tee. ( Not my strong suit).
The greens are pretty good but I wish more people would fix their ball marks.
Some great holes.
I will keep going back until I can play it well!!
