Poor customer service
Rude person in pro shop at check in. It was raining when we arrived and I wanted to discuss my options and all he could say was no refund or rain check.
Where was the course ranger?
After 4.5 hours and completing only 14 holes I left the course. Players were backed up the entire day and there was no one to tell people to play through or move on! Very frustrating morning. Be prepared if it’s busy, you’re going to spend a lot of time waiting around.

Well kept & challenging
It had been 10 years since I last played Butternut. The course was in excellent shape. Fairways and greens were in superb condition. The tee boxes could’ve been a tad better but that’s a picky complaint. The course is tight for a public course. There’s only 1 hole that isn’t narrow. The weekend price with a cart is a great value as well. If you’re looking for a challenging round of golf on a very well kept course then Butternut is calling your name.

I have played here several times in the last 4 years.
The course and good but the course policr re no rain checks is terrible.
They will rip you off every chance they get.
There policy says if you don''t show up because of weather or some other reason they don't care and will charge you the full amount. Their policy says thye MAY charge you but forget the MAY they will charge you.
recentley one of the members of my foursome had an unexpected health situation on a Saturday but they don't want to hear any excuses.
Most /if not all the courses in the area have a fair rain check policy -not here at Butteripoff farms

Summertime and the golfing is east……
Great round, course is in awesome shape, and pace was good, too. Teed off at 10 and was done by 2. Greens were a little slow due to water though they ran true.
