Maynard Golf Course

The staff was very friendly, but the course condition is terrible. Huge amount of damages such as no grass or fungal infections on almost all the greens. All fairways need better grass. All Tee boxes are in very bad conditions.

Personally, I love the layout of this course. The holes aren’t right on top of each other and I think they offer a nice amount of challenge and variation. The greens have improved since I played in May, which is a testament to how bad they were in May because they still need work. Some of the fairways have taken a hit due to the heat and drought, but I can’t fault the course there. The tee boxes do require some work on at least a few holes, specifically hole 9: pretty lumpy and uneven from the whites.

Links in good shape, some ground compaction in areas, but main issue is damage to greens, looks like disease. Areas need some TLC. Temporary greens may be an option for a while..

Overall not bad. Course play was good, 9 holes just under 2 hours.

Only issue was a few greens have had some work done and not recovering well.

I enjoy the layout of this course with a mix of straightforward and challenging holes. 2 tricky par 3s, but you can use your driver on 6 of the 9 holes.

The sad thing is several of the greens need repair due to dirt spots, and burned out grass.

Course had a nice layout. Considering we had a rough winter in the Northeast I appreciate them opening early

I will play it again in rhe summer

We recently found the Maynard course this summer and have really enjoyed playing there. The staff is always great and we have met many great people there. The course is in nice shape with the exception of some of the greens. Well worth the value!

Easy going round on a Sunday in July. The Pro shop was great. About 2 hours for 9 on this course. Conditions were fine for mid July with a lot of heat and inconsistent rain.
