Nice tight course, needs more yardage marking
Course was in great shape, including greens. They need more yardage marking - can't tell how far you are without using an App
Great course that will make you work for it
Great course in great shape. Challenging but fair.
Great Course but Narrow
The course, the staff and the amenities are great, my only complaint is how narrow this golf course is. If they trimmed back the trees this would be one of the best hidden gems in the area. The problem is that there is zero variety off the tee due to how narrow the course is. There are plenty of dog legs and you can't really cut any of the corners. You could play this entire course hitting it stricly 200-230 yards off the tee. The variety of Par 3's is not as important but not great either. I hit PW on every par 3.
Good course, getting better.
We had a cold day to golf, walking made it better to stay warm. The course is a bit wet from recent weather, lots of soft spots but still playable. Lots of maintenance taking place, greens rolling, grass trimming, sand bunkers being redone. Good to see the investment to make this course better. Greens are fast for all the rain we had, fun to play.
Charlton golfer
Good walkable course with trees lined up to many a fairway. Greens are in great shape, alawys a great course to play.
In good shape, fun to play.
The course is good, with all the recent rain grass is growing fast. Greens are a little slow, maybe they can cut/roll after things dry out. T-boxes are rough, lots of bare spots, overall in good shape.
Butternut GC 4/10/25
Great early springtime conditions. Well manicured t-boxes, fairways with consistent rolling greens. The groves were free of winters past with the grounds crew hard at work. Friendly club house staff and a starter that was on point.
Great fall/pre winter conditions. Leaf patrol was well mantained. Friendly club house staff. Pace of play was perfect seeing how we had the course to ourselves. My kind of golf.
No raincheck!
Unexpected events happen - could not play the back 9 - expensive course and no raincheck.
Nice Course, but needs help
Nickel & Dime everything. No beer cart and with so many people walking. It ends up being 4 and a half hour rounds. SAD!!
