Nice time, conditions but overpriced
The rain has helped - greens and fairways as good as I’ve seen there. Tee boxes just ok. The negative is the pricing - used to pay $30 for a hot deal that included a cart - now the only hot deal is 7am and it’d be $67 on a Friday if you needed a cart. Its a fun historic layout but at least $20 overpriced
Decent layout but poor conditions.
The layout of this shorter course is good. The par 5s are a legitimate distance and the numerous sub-300 yard par 4s are still a challenge.
But the conditions here are not good. The tee boxes are not in good shape. One is actually turf and not grass. And the greens are slow and a little beat up. I know it’s a muni course but this course is a substantial step down in quality from the other Boston muni I’ve played (Franklin Park). I don’t think this course is good value at $65 for fees and cart.
Solid Course! Would Recommend
Would return even in with the cold conditions. Found like 10-20 balls. Course was super fun. The Slope compensated for the distance. Was very happy with the results.
