Terrible Course - Stay Away
This course is in horrible condition, way over priced, and most of the staff not so friendly. The greens were half brown carpet and fairways muddy and just as bad as the rough. This used to be a well maintained course with the best staff years ago but every year seems to be getting worse. You would be better off paying less money and going somewhere else in better condition. I really hope this course is able to turn it around before they drive everyone away. It used to be a great place to enjoy the day.
Course Has Gone Downhill Fast
This used to be a great place to play. All the staff was friendly, good food and drinks, and the course was always being worked on to improve. Now, almost every green had brown patches and almost every fairway was in rough shape. And besides a couple of guys at the clubhouse, the rest are not so friendly. This place js way over priced and is always slow play. Also, they used to have the grill going for everyone but now they have it going but say it's for members only. It seems like whoever is running this place now doesn't care if it just runs into the ground. This was always our go to course but you would be better off playing a nicer course for less money. It's sad but I hope they at least water the greens soon before they're completely all brown carpet.
Not a bad place in a drought
Being formed out of swamp, Norwood CC is usually wet and marshy, even with a small amount of precipitation. This summer being extremely dry, the course plays close to what it should. The greens are in worse shape than usual though, with some burnt out areas. Not a bad routing for a course so short and flat. Worth the money I'd say, and I'll be returning, mostly because it's my town course.
Just fun golf
Friendly people, dedicated to junior golf programs, organized and a great place to groove your game.
I really enjoy playing this course. Very basic straight layout for the most part. Course is used quite a bit. Tee boxes are beat up. But I do enjoy playing here. Staff is very friendly and are very accommodating. I feel the price to play 18 with a cart is a little to expensive. But I choose to play here due to the close proximity to where I reside and how easy it is to get there.
Decent day
Honestly your average public golf course. Greens decent. Had been recently punched. Very bumpy. Sparse in some areas. Fairways plush but very bumpy. Not flat. Carts were pretty nice. Had a cart girl , practice greens. Starter was unaware what tee time I was despite asking me multiple times. I realized my obvious pairing was on the tee box already so I had to ask if I was joining them or not. Bar tender wasn’t overly friendly when asked to fill water bottle. Overall. Not a bad course for 40ish dollars. Bit of a shooting range though. Lots of “FOREEE”. Would go back all things considered.
