About
Hawk Hollow Golf Club's 27-hole layout has been ranked as one of the top 50 public golf courses in Michigan. Sprawling across over 500 acres, the course provides plenty of room. It also covers a diverse terrain that is sprinkled with water features and trees. Strategically placed bunkers frame the undulating greens but the water takes center stage on this course. It comes into play on nearly every hole. The fifth hole on the back nine is one of the course's best risk-reward opportunities. This challenging hole is a seemingly modest par 4 that features an island fairway and a sloping but receptive green. With some luck and two well struck shots you could find yourself with a birdie. In addition to the golf course, Hark Hollow offers extensive practice facilities that include two driving ranges, a short game area, and a large putting green.

Awesome course
Fantastic course one of the nicest courses i have ever played will definitely play again! Highly recommend!!
Great Course for mid to upper level golfers.
Nice golf course with wide fairways.Thick rough makes par challenging. Greens around 9.5 which are actually slower than the practice putting green next to the clubhouse. Some greens had a few old ballmarks but didn't make a big difference. Overall a good experience, would like to play it more often. Well worth the 1 hour drive to get to the course.
Good time
For the course being full it went great 41/2 hour round
I was rain out on the 4th hole and the course was closed the remaining day.

Stellar golf course!!!
Decided to make over an hour drive out to the Lansing area to try this track. Few years ago golfed a sister course(eagle eye) and was looking forward to seeing what hawk hollow was like. Arrived almost an hour before our scheduled tee time in hopes of beating some rain reported to be headed toward Lansing. We we're warmly greeted by staff and checked in. We we're given the green light to go whenever we we're ready. Pace of play was excellent.. My wife and I were able to complete18 holes in 3hrs and 15 min... Whohooo!!! The course was immaculate from tee to green. The rough was cut a bit higher and did penalize a shot that was not in the fairway. This set up was perfect and a fair yrst of ones golf shots. This rough near the greens cost me at least 3 strokes as it snagged by wedge and caused an errant shot. But that is fair all things considered. Greens did not have a flat spot on them. They were very undulating and offered a good putting challenge. Greens were quick but not like concrete. Course layout was very eye appealing and my wife and I both thought it was worth the hour plus ride to play this course. Sandtraps were good and only found myself in 1 green side bunker the entire round. This course also has an 18 hole putting course from what we saw but with weather being a concern we chose to not investigate that further. So we would highly recommend if you have the chance to golf this course.. You do. You will not be disappointed. I hope to get out there and eagle eye again in the near future
Hawk Hollow is great!
I always love playing this course. It really is a treat. The condition of the course is always top notch! Lots of fun and challenging holes. Definitely want to hit em straight unless you wanna lose lots of balls.
Fantastic !!
Played all 27 holes for $90 on Friday. Definitely worth the hour drive. If you appreciate a course that requires you to use every club in your bad this is the one. Every hole is unique and is memorable. Unlike public courses where you can play on another fairway on errant drive this course won’t be forgiving if you don’t keep it straight. There are a handful of holes that require using an iron off the tee because it’s setup that way.
Greens are big and rolls true. Pin positions in our rounds were extremely tough. It felt like every hole on Friday the pins were tucked in the back and very hard to be aggressive.
The rough can be punishing if you are not used to it. It’s very thick and you need to be ready on every hole because the thick rough is all around the greens. Bunkers were not much in play for most of my round but they are there throughout the course.
The last 9 holes ( holes 19-27) are the most challenging because there is water and hazard on every hole.
The only downside to our round is that the fairways were mowed recently and you have clean your ball From all the grass
Overall had a great time. Will definitely come back again.

A Premier course
This course was beautiful. Greens ran true. Very Challenging . We enjoyed the 18 hole mini course putting challenge. I look forward to playing here again.
Really underrated gem
Terrific layout (including an amazing 3-hole closing stretch) and overall in excellent shape. At $75 as good a value for money as almost anywhere in Michigan. Over-shadowed by its sister course a half mile away... but HH really holds its own allure. I’ve played all the great ones in Michigan, and HH is truly ‘just outside’ being in that category. An absolute must play
