Great condition for November
I was amazed at how good the conditions were !
Only negative , were greens were very slow ; maybe they let greens grow more before winter.
Shabby greens and tee boxes
The tee boxes seem to get zero maintenance and tees are apparently not moved often. Very beat up.
Some greens were decent but others were atrocious. Not mowed, fungus, bare spots.
Even allowing for the regular aggravation of falling leaves in the fall the course was in horrible shape. Does nobody take pride in their work anymore??

Great course was in great shape for end of the season greens were In great shape
Conditions
Can all places care about the conditions ,,NO ,, when a place does care you know it!!!!!! this is one of them ,, when playing these courses ,,,>>> no when to hold them and know when to fold them at theses courses..
Well worth the trip
I played both the North and South courses and had an extremely enjoyable experience. The greens rolled a little slow compared to other courses I have played but they were in great shape. The staff and starter were extremely nice and the course was in good shape even after the two week drought. . I preferred the North course over the South but both had its unique challenges. Good pace of play even with four groups of walkers ahead of us. Will definitely play again.
Fairways dried out!
Played both courses, North was in better shape than south! South was dried out and lots of patches ! Greens were spongy and slow. Grounds crew would mow grass but not rake up the excess grass!

The beer cart was not working, Tee boxes were a complete disaster, and the fairways and greens were not in good shape. To top it all off it was very over priced. Last time at Stowe Acres unfortunately

Look elsewhere - better bang for your buck. Multiple greens covered in geese droppings and others wrecked by black fungus. Par threes are all straight and essentially the same distance. Layout is not overly interesting. Better options in the area layout and upkeep-wise. Save your money.

Longest 9 hole round ever
I played 9 after work and the pace of place was awful. It was so clogged up on the 6th hole the group ahead was actually sitting down on the fairway waiting. It took 2 hours and 50 minutes to play 9 holes. The layout is fun and the conditions were good, but the pace of play was very disappointing

Diseased Greens & Burnt Fairways
Course is in horrible condition. Wouldn’t pay more than $10 to play this course. The greens are diseased and appears they are growing them out to try and fix them. As a result the greens have more grass than the burnt out fairways (if there’s grass on the greens - some greens have big dirt patches. Would NOT recommend.
