Sub-Par experience
Perhaps it’s COVID related, and weather related, but the conditions really sucked - tee to green. I’ve played here for years, but never seen the course so poorly cared for. No water on course. No beverage cart. On a positive note, there was sand in the bunkers. The greens needed to be cut and rolled and were covered with dew well into the late morning. The did not roll roll true and we’re covered in blemishes. Cut grass covered the fairways and rough, and the golf shoes had to be constantly cleaned of the thick wet grass. Very disappointing and not worth the $64 that is charged walkers on weekends. I don’t plan to return soon!

Hot days = long grass and saturated greens
Whilst I understand the need to leave first cut of rough a little longer due to the heat - to avoid burning, any marginal missed resulted in lost ball or significant time looking.
The greens were also being pumped with water and some type of fertilizer, so you were putting through near puddles at 6:30am.
I don’t understand why the standard rate was applied for the round? $84?? Not acceptable given the course conditions. It should be weighted when the course management has clearly made a decision to protect the course.
To whoever is writing comments from Stow Acres, please stop. Every single response claims you will fix the issue identified, yet you do nothing. Why are you even responding? It makes it worse when you claim you will fix an issue and don’t do it. Just say nothing. It’s more consistent with what you are doing…which is nothing. Nothing to address slow greens, uncut rough, disastrous tee boxes, overgrown trees, nonexistent sand in bunkers, trash cans that never get emptied, no rangers on the course.

Not a whole lot of positives
There’s not a lot of positives about this course. It’s barely a step up from a municipal course. For $84, there’s much better courses out there.
The driving range was closed due to rain (?). The “grill” only serves hotdogs and snacks for food. The course was not in great condition. Lots of ground under repair, unkept bunkers, beat up fairways, very slow greens. The rough was long to the point where if you’re not on the fairway there’s a good chance you won’t be able to spot your ball. The grounds crew must have taken the summer off or something.

Beautiful course with great variety in the holes.
The only thing that caught us as first-timers was not knowing the layout, and so not knowing exactly where to aim to avoid water hazards. Laid up too soon more than once! Although this is a comment on players more than maintenance, there were a lot of unrepaired ball marks on the greens. We liked that no two holes were much alike, and the views were lovely!

Monday morning
Overall a good place to play. I don’t think it’s quite worth the $70 but by no means is it a bad course. Needs a little love in terms of mowing the rough and tee boxes. Needs better signage on the course. Not bad overall

Poor conditions

Needs Investment
Greens were incredibly slow and appear to not have been groomed for quite awhile. Rough was excessively long as desperately needs to be cut. Poor value for fee. Used to be one of best courses in area but apparently ownership will not put $ into it to make it good again.

golf 4 all
Staff was excellent fairways and roughs could use some grass cutting and greens are slow. But overall the value was excellent and play was under 4: and 1/2 hours
North course
Rough was deep but manageable, greens are a little soft on approach so landing in high and hard you can expect it to grab. Overall great course
