Overpriced
$85 to play North Course on weekend morning (with mandatory cart). Good layout but not worth the money given the course condition. Many tee boxes and greens were in rough shape. There were also several holes with downed tree branches just off the fairway, making it more difficult to find your ball. Pace of play was decent for a weekend morning (4:20). Will look elsewhere next time.

consistently good
First time out to Stow this season. Played the North course which was great. Many of the tee boxes have been repaired with new turf and overall the course was in good condition. Have been playing here many years, and it's consistently a good golf experience.

Lack of information
I will be playing the course later this morning but I find it disappointing that there is no greens fee information on the course website. The Facebook page doesn't even indicate the course is open for play..C'mon guys! The internet is a great resource for informing your clientele. You need to utilize it.

Stow North
Have played this course well over 200 times over the years. It has hosted tournaments such as the Mass Amateur and we’ve seen this course in great shape. To be charitable, this is beyond the end of the normal playing season as New England heads toward winter. The greens are not that bad, but the tee boxes were rough and ragged, fairways with patches and bare spots, cart paths becoming rutty washboards. Now we’ve heard that this course may sold off and only the inferior south course will remain. Too bad, but this property has changed hands several times, and each owner seems to let conditions slide in their own way. Hate to see it go.

Drained really well
We had very heavy rains the night before. The group i played with were all experienced golfers who kept talking about how surprised they were by the course being in such great condition after heavy rains. The north course drains VERY well. We had an awesome day playing 18
Great Day
Course was in great shape. Staff was super friendly with a cart that came out pretty often. Ranger was helpful for several blind holes on the front 9. Overall had a great time on the course

Forward Tees were an After thought
This place could care less about women playing there!
Not one item of female clothing in the pro shot to the forward tees which were difficult to locate because they were just patches of grass, even depressions of grass, certainly NOT tee boxes.
Very unimpressed and will not be rushing back!
No photos of each hole and with leaves everywhere, we couldn't locate our balls easily. Had to wait at each and every hole. Cart paths were in such poor shape and we were so disappointed in Stowe Acres!!!

Greens much better than last time I played this course. Fairways only fair. Tee boxes awful. Sand in traps poor.
