Forward Tees were an After thought
This place could care less about women playing there!
Not one item of female clothing in the pro shot to the forward tees which were difficult to locate because they were just patches of grass, even depressions of grass, certainly NOT tee boxes.
Very unimpressed and will not be rushing back!
No photos of each hole and with leaves everywhere, we couldn't locate our balls easily. Had to wait at each and every hole. Cart paths were in such poor shape and we were so disappointed in Stowe Acres!!!
Greens much better than last time I played this course. Fairways only fair. Tee boxes awful. Sand in traps poor.

Stay away!
Yes, it’s Covid. Yes, there is a dought. But this course and facilities have gone way down. Grass less tee boxes and sparse fairways - this course had its day. Word has it the south course is just as bad. There are plenty of other better course in the area. It looks like they are or are about to go belly up.

Not Stow I remember
We had not played Stow in over 15 years
So disappointing the condition overall !
Tees has much sand and understanding drought conditions, it is unacceptable that at each the landing areas had some turf in fairways.
For $79 , the value is disappointing but more so
Stow is not course from past. Manage the cart flow better with all the traffic if maintenance dollars are not there !

So much promise
Oh boy,
I want to to give a good review, but my word do these guys make it tough. Let’s start with course - could be great, all the ingredients are there, but the chef is delinquent or incompetent. Crappy tee boxes, impossible to distinguish between fairways and rough and just recently, a bunch of trees mowed down for what I assume is the latest in expected aesthetics. Balls to that, you numpties. Leave nature alone, it was the saving grace of this faded dame. Now, the place is filled with weeds, stumps, bare dirt and the busted flush of 5+ hour rounds with unapologetic turf buggerers and nonexistent rangers. A $40 round may be presented as a public service in these COVID-straightened times, but when a course is raking it in due to rampant demand even at these prices, why should the many deficiencies of Stow be excused? For the love of whatever you consider holy Stow management, take this place back to its former glory. You have a gem, don’t let it crack under the weight of neglected equipment, optimistic profit projections and an inflated sense of duty to “the ordinary golfer “. Speaking as one of the latter, we need you to be what you were, not a dollar store caricature of yourself

Tee boxes and some spots in fairways were in pretty rough shape. Greens were slow and bumpy

Way to slow and course beat up
Good deal as far as a cheap round but the course has some issues in spots and the groups are stacked one on top of each other. Waiting to hit on every shot isn’t fun
