Holly Meadows Golf Course
About
Holly Meadows Golf Club & Banquet Center in Capac is a player-friendly course that wanders across a scenic landscape of mature trees and natural wetlands. The gently rolling terrain provides subtle but tricky elevation changes. Several ponds come into play throughout the golf course, water is by far the most prominent challenge you'll find though there are also a few strategically placed bunkers to contend with along the greensides. At 6,200 yards from the back tees, it's a manageable length for beginners. The layout definitely has a fair amount of holes that will make you think but overall it's forgiving enough for high handicappers. For a quick, fun round for any skill level, it's an excellent option. Besides golf, you can also bowl a few rounds at Holly Meadows Golf Club & Banquet Center.

Reviews
Geese
I felt the geese population has taken over the course... It leaves the course with dropping everywhere. It's impossible not to effect your game.. This in my opinion is taking a great golf course out of play...
Course is good
Not the toughest test, but fun to play. Greens were in good shape.
Great value
My husband and I played here on June 16. The course was in very good condition; decent roll on the fairways, rough short enough to play from without a major struggle, greens fast and firm with no sign of winter damage. The slope from the whites and reds is 117 and the holes are a little shorter than many courses we have played. Consequently we were able to hit our approach shots with lower irons which made for an enjoyable round with much lower scores than usual. Another feature that I liked was that sand traps are minimal. We shall definitely return to this course.
Friendly
Enjoyed the course and the people that run it. It has a few challenging holes and enough water to keep you on your toes. It was the first time I played it this year. The greens were just sanded and I could see the fertilizer in the fairways. Looking forward to playing there again on my next vacation in July.
Ruff Ruff
I lost more balls in the middle of the rough or right of the fairway. my balls would just disappear in the light rough. I didn't understand why it wasn't shorter. I found that a lot of the courses in the area are the same way but overall always a good day golfing in holly meadows. love it!
good shape
very nice course you have an enjoyable day playing out there
Can't beat the price!
The course was in decent condition for the excessive amount of rain in the area lately. The course is fair with a good amount of water and marsh hazards giving iyou enough of a challenge. And for the price, I'll definitely be back for another round.
Great Course for the Price!!!
This course by no means is extravagant but it's well kept and Cheap!!! Staff is always pleasant and the food is pretty good too.
Good course and friendly staff
this for the is a great course for the money. Not to busy
fun,challenging course
Great deal for the money!! Would go back for another round. Very friendly and accommodating staff.
I really enjoyed playing golf at this course. It was well maintained and the greens were challenging as well as well manicured. The staff was friendly
Course itself was in a nice shape, and greens were in good condition. Course was fun to play on. It certainly keeps you challenged but not overwhelming.
great day. good course, pretty layout
Staff had our reservation ready for us. course in really good condition.
This is a great course.
This is a great course. There are some challenging holes and it is fairly well maintained. We played along with little wait time. Enjoyed the day and will definitely be back.
A little of everything
This is the fourth time I've golfed this course this summer and I love it. There are lots of birdie hole opportunities, but you have to be careful on other holes or you will get a bogey or worse. Some of the short holes....you better hit your 4 iron or 3 wood straight or you may be in the water. I've played a lot of courses and this is one of my favourites.
A Steal for the Price
I was hesitant to book a round here, because of the long drive (about 40 minutes). After this experience, I will probably play here much more if the rates stay low (makes up for the gas). The course conditions are pretty nice and if I hadn't been behind walkers for 9, and then in front of speed golfers for the last 7 holes, I probably would have had an even better time. The spacious views do make the course seem bigger than it is at times, but most of the holes played the same on distance: Driver, 3 Wood (Tight Lies on the fairway), 9 Iron, Putting. I can't wait to play this course on a slower afternoon when there is less traffic. A little short, but sweet.
Best bang for your buck in the area.
You can play this course for under $20 most of time with the golf now ap. Very green fairways and nice greens. Has a good mix of water and sand traps on the course. Nice cart paths and bridges to get you to the next hole. If you haven't played here yet you must. Great play value.
Couldn't come up with a single complaint if I tried!
I live in the Blue Water Area and although I don't live right by Capac, I consider this my "home course". The Hollenbeck family and their staff are fantastically friendly and helpful. The course has a nice layout, even after playing here for years I find new challenges. Best value price for what you get in the Blue Water area, I golf here about every other time I play and the only reason I ever go anywhere else is just to add some variety to my season, this place is great!
fun interesting course. great value.
Moderate length course. Fairways vary from medium width to rather tight. Decently maintained. Nice greens with reasonable challenges, but can be difficult to hold during very dry weather. A fun course that can occasionally trap an aggressive risk taker.
One of my favorite courses
i got a great deal via a "hot deal" on a great day and witnessed a spectacular round by Dave Evans.
