Holly Meadows Golf Club & Banquet Center in Capac is a player-friendly course that wanders across a scenic landscape of mature trees and natural wetlands. The gently rolling terrain provides subtle but tricky elevation changes. Several ponds come into play throughout the golf course, water is by far the most prominent challenge you'll find though there are also a few strategically placed bunkers to contend with along the greensides. At 6,200 yards from the back tees, it's a manageable length for beginners. The layout definitely has a fair amount of holes that will make you think but overall it's forgiving enough for high handicappers. For a quick, fun round for any skill level, it's an excellent option. Besides golf, you can also bowl a few rounds at Holly Meadows Golf Club & Banquet Center.

Course was in excellent condition even after they had an outing in the morning. crew still had course in good shape, good greens.
Great Time at Holly Meadows
You will always enjoy your time at Holly Meadows. Their prices are great. the course is in super shape, with fast greens, beautiful fairways, playable rough, nice well maintained sand traps and friendly staff.
We went on Sunday morning, and it was not crowded.
There was no beverage cart, so we had to use our own beverages.
The back tees are perfect distance for typical amateurs.
The golf carts are a little old, but still function well. (Probably part of the lower price strategy)
Overall a very nice time.
Nice coarse for the money. The fairways are easy to recover from. The water isn't a huge factor. There are only two holes that you can't see the green and you have to lay up and use irons off the tee..

We love this course, even though we don't live around the corner we call this our home course. Fun , friendly , and it doesn't break your wallet ... in fact we've stayed on more than once for a second 18!
Nice day of golfing.
Course was in very good shape. Staff was excellent. Even the ground keepers were friendly. Would go back there again. Nothing bad to say about the day. Very reasonably priced.
Beautiful course
Wow what an amazing course. Very well maintained.. perfect greens, perfect tee boxes . Bunkers were raked out nice and the fairways were super nice as well. The staff was super friendly too. I honestly cant think of one thing that was avg or below avg. This course was just about perfect.

The course was great. Reasonably dry with the ground well kept. The weather could have been better, we had off and on sprinkles but we were able to complete our round.

Great Value
If you're looking for a nice course that is not super long and affordable then Holly Meadows is where to play. The back nine is cut through some trees with some holes with marsh and water. Very pretty to play. For the money it's a nice course to play.
Very enjoyable
Always enjoy playing here. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Played after some heavy rain and was pleasantly surprised about how good the course conditions were. Really nice local course.

This course has everything. Interesting holes, lots of nature in the Marshes, moderate challenge and a very friendly staff.
Very Plesantly Surprised!!
Came from Mt. Clemens after driving past it on a weekend drive and was intrigued by the pleasant setting. I have to admit, I was totally taken by the friendliness of the staff, the great condition of the course and the laid back atmosphere of the whole experience. I'm just an average player (95 - 110) and a couple of times I thought I was holing other players up they told me not to worry about it, that none of us were pros and everyone was out just to have a good time and not in a hurry. I will most definitely will be back for more!!!
Could recieve more stars with a few improvments
This was our first time playing out in Capac. The club house was very nice and the staff very friendly. Smiles all around. They went out of their way to make sure we understood where the first and tenth tees were as well as some funky little dogleg holes.
The cart person came around at perfect intervals. This was good as it was ungodly hot that day.
The course is forgiving and really not difficult. It would have been a better day if it was not so hot out. Obviously, nothing can be done about that.
I would give the course a much better score if:
# 1 The tee boxes were flat
#2 The tee boxes were evenly mowed and the grass covered them. There were quite a few weeds on the tee boxes.
# 3 In reference to the women's tees- they seemed like an afterthought but they also seemed to be as poorly maintained as the men's
All in all- HM needs to maintain better tee boxes. Seed them, water them, and smooth them out.
Holly meadows
Great course for intermediate players. Sandtraps are a little hard, but fairways and greens are in great shape. Who wants to hang out in a stinking sandtrap anyway?
