The course was in excellent shape.

We played Cedar Chase, Sunday 07/31. The course was in great shape, well worth the discounted rate of $30 for 18 and a cart per person. Certainly worth the drive!!

Great layout of the course. Elevation changes. Challenging placement of bunkers. Some tight fairways. Greens speeds were a little inconsistent, especially in comparison to the putting green. But overall, very well maintained, challenging, and exciting to play!

Really hard course but I like it. Always in great shape, fast greens. Staff are super friendly one of the nicest course around .

This was my first time playing Cedar Chase. Greens were in excellent shape with smooth rolling surface that accepted iron and chip shots well. Holes varied from tight tee shots in the woods to more open fairways with bunkers and tall grass. The staff was very friendly and the course was quiet and relaxing.

Overall nice experience except that the pro shop clerk was not real friendly. Also had to pair up with another twosome. This limited pace of play. Overall nice course.

We always enjoy playing this course. It's a beautiful setting in the country and the course is well maintained. Challenging but not crazy difficult. Very friendly staff.

Course was in good shape, staff friendly and price was right for a nice round. Only negative was a couple of the greens had not been cleaned off and getting an accurate putt from anywhere on them was impossible.

You can't beat this course for the price. It's a real test, but also very fun. Play forward yees here to score well.

Finally found my golf destination in West Michigan. This course is well-kept, challenging, and always a pleasant time. Pace of play is never a problem. Greens roll smooth. There are no geese on this course. The excellent staff keeps the course in superb condition and ensures customer satisfaction. Not to mention you can get all of this at a very reasonable price. Easily the best value in West Michigan. I can finally afford to golf more without having to suffer through dreadful conditions of other courses in this price range.

This is gem in the middle of nowhere so if you have the time drive up past GR and go play it, it's in amazing shape and layout will for sure challenge you. Great value for good shots.

Many elevation changes and blind shots, so need a little local knowledge.

Greens are fairly large and somewhat tricky.

Some fairways are a little narrow, and others are great for sprayed shots...good for the average golfer.

The course was in fairly good shape for this time of year. Leaves are always a problem. We enjoyed our round this course can test you. We will definitely return.

I had some time between appointments in the Grand Rapids area and was able to secure a Golfnow tee time at 9:30 AM for $20 and figured I would take a chance as I have never played here before and hadn't heard much about it.

Well, it was money very well spent! I arrived at the course to find one other car in the parking lot and it appeared as though I may have been the first person to go out for the day. The course was a true joy to play and was in immaculate condition. One issue that I will complain about is that for 14 holes all of the greens were perfect...when I got to 15 that all changed and the clubhouse staff (what appeared to be a 20 year old kid) didn't bother to tell me that 15-18 had just been aerated. When I say "just been aerated" I literally mean it had to have been that morning. The aeration holes were huge and no sand had been put down yet. Those 4 greens were inputtable. It was a disappointment as I was playing very well up to that point and simply had to impart the automatic 2-putt rule.

Aside from this aeration issue the course was fantastic. Very playable and fair and a great variety of holes. The back 9 does get a little bit tighter on a few holes but still playable and not intimidating.

I would highly recommend this course and I will play again this fall to enjoy the fall colors on this "up north" feel track!

11:30 tee time made turn at 1:15 with group in front and group in back. Grabbed a water in clubhouse less than 5min than proceeded to 10th tee. We found the course had allowed 8 players to tee off on number 10 together ahead of our turn. One of those foursomes was already hitting second shots and foursome in tee wouldn't let us play through. Ended up getting -18 hole rain check and leaving the course. Pretty shocked and very frustrating experience. Course is very nice just need serious guidelines for play etiquette.

Tight but playable. Fun course would definitely go back to play again.

I try to play Cedar Chase a few times a year. The course is very well maintained, challenging and the staff is extremely friendly. Well worth the value.

Never a complaint when I visit Cedar Chase. Difficult course, excellent conditions, and home to one of the best pro shop employees in all of Michigan.
