Nice city course!
Overall a nice course, you can tell the staff care about this place. It's a bit narrow, but if you hit em straight you will be rewarded. Back 9 was a bit slower. Seems a group of 3 jumped ahead of us somehow. Overall a great experience. Thank you!

Waited on almost every shot.. not ideal.. I wish places would give more time between tee times.. makes for a Loooong Round.. course was in decent shape though..

Great deal
Good deal on Golf Now! At bit slow the front nine but was wide open on the back. Greens in great condition.

Over booked
This is an average course ... pace of play is terrible ... if you make a tee time be prepared to wait this course over the last few years we have played it with a tee time we've had to wait up to an hour to get off since they will always let walk on go anytime

it was a great day to play golf
I have played at Fern Hill many times and it is a great course to play, there are some challenging holes and the course was in good condition, after playing had a great lunch in the resturant

Slow pace of play otherwise an okay course.
You get what you pay for. It was a cheap round; however, pace of play was unbearably slow. The course was clearly overbooked and after only getting through 9 holes in 2.5 hours I left early. $25 for 9 is still a decent deal; however, I will probably just go to Bello Woods instead going forward. The pace of play is better and the course is the same price but slightly better in quality.

Horrible experience
Group behind us hit into us 3 separate times all while we were obviously in sight; twice on the fairway, once in the green. Retaliated by throwing their ball into the woods. They then decided to start screaming obscenities in our backswings. Contacted the ranger and the ranger opted to tell us that “it’s Sunday, enjoy your golf.” Horrible staff, course layout was set up as a shooting gallery with stray balls flying everywhere. Pace of play was slightly faster than non-existent. Terrible experience. Left after 9 holes. Will not be back. Can’t recommend anyone else go either.

Paid for 18, only could play 9
Booked a 2pm tee time for 18 holes. Got to the course and tee'd off at 2pm. The course was very backed up and the group i joined and I waited to tee off on at least half the holes on the front 9. Slow play through the front 9. We made the turn and noticed there was a bunch of golfers on hole 10. From my prior experience, I knew this was a league. I went inside to confirm and the guy at the counter said you should have made the turn by now. HOW? The pace of play was horrible and we still finished the front 9 in just over 2 hours. We were told that we couldn't play the back 9, couldn't play the front 9 again and were given a voucher for 9 holes. Really? I drive all the way out there to play and you booked rounds you couldn't fulfill?!? Not everybody can get out all the time and just get out on the rare times the stars align during the week. There was multiple groups behind us that met the same fate. Sad that this course packs as many tee times as possible before leagues and then doesn't give any warning about pending leagues. They just want to bring as much $$ as possible and find it okay to leave customers who planned on playing 18, disappointed at the turn when told they are done. Vouchers don't mean crap to me and were a sorry consolation, especially when it was only for the 9 and not even another 18. So now I have to 'pay $10' as the guy at the counter said to play 18. So they basically swindled another $10 out of me in the future. This experience left a horrible taste in mouth. Don't know that I'll even go back
