The Meadows

Wife and I took advantage of bad weather and empty course to putz around The Meadows on a Friday in the fall. No leaves which is always a plus in the fall. 1st time wife played this course and she thought it was beautiful and fun from the red tees. She is more used to short courses but appreciated the length and had fun on the greens. This place is always great and love the layout so much for someone who sprays the driver it's not as tight as it looks. Always will remain a must play every year.

After the 4 days of rain, I thought the course might have puddles here and there. Nope. Great drainage. Didn't land in a bunker, but they looked a little moist. Greens ran true as always. I had my normal 6 lipouts from 20+ feet. Proshop is efficient, not overpriced much and friendly. Janey in the bar was nice and didnt seem tired even though she slept on the couch. 😳

This course is always in great condition and a real pleasure to play. The layout is challenging but very fair.

Been playing here for years, finally realized that this course can be played well, never thought it possible

Was going along fine even though we had to wait on the group ahead of us through 9 holes. we stopped in the club house for water and snacks to go, then right to the back nine. About 4 holes in a ranger stopped and told us we needed to speed up. Should not be reprimanded for a short stop at the clubhouse.

Great course, just packed with golfers. Expect over 2 hours per 9 holes. Sometimes hard to get onto course with so many outings booked.

I played the course for my first time with a member there. I was the first tee time out and the weather was perfect. The course is very challenging off the tee. if its gone, its gone. The greens are a work of art. Not forgiving one bit on the approach shots. Would highly recommend.
