The Meadows

The Meadows offers a fair but challenging links layout at a very affordable rate. The course was in very good condition, with the greens and fairways in top shape. The tee boxes were pretty good as well, although a couple were off level. We played on a early Sunday morning which may be the cause for no beverage cart on the course - not great on a warm July day.

Always in good condition. Only thing missing was on course beverage cart. Would have been nice on the 4th.

Two people in front of the group in front of us were hitting about 3 or 4 off the tee box on every hole. No ranger to stop them or make them let others play thru. Over 5-hours to play 18 with a cart. We were all waiting on every shot. Nobody in front of the doorknobs for 4 holes. We should have passed them, played the rest of the holes and got our money back.

Meadows is always a great course to play, just a little slow on the pace and backup this weekend we played but normally not an issue otherwise. Greens looked great, and course is well maintained.

I had no knowledge of the Meadows course before playing it last week. To my surprise I found out that it's hosted many NCAA Division I Championships over the years. The course offers a little of everything, blind shots, difficult bunkers, and some subtle humps and hills that hide collection areas or small creeks.

A nice layout with great greens. For $32 with a cart, you cant beat this place if your in the Grand Rapids, Mi area. I highly recommend it.
