Great course, always well conditioned, make sure you choose the right tees or you will have a long round.
Great as always
Course was in great shape like always, most notably the greens which were receptive but fast.
Beautiful, but very challenging
A lot of hazards, the 18th hole is brutal, the greens are difficult because of shelving and they are very fast. Not a links style course, if you miss the fairway, you probably lost your ball, the fairways are narrow, so bring a good supply of balls.
Excellent Condition
A great course that provides fantastic challenges and greens that roll true and fast.
Challenging, But Fair
This is a beautiful and challenging course. I play from the Golds for now, so many of the water hazards were not in play for me. But I found the one that was! The greens are like putting on ice. They are the fastest greens I have ever played on. That made this course even more fun. I had a great time and will be back!
An absolute classic
I love the Meadows. I enjoy it every time..
The young guys behind us hit into us 3 times. This isn't the course's fault. A call placed to the clubhouse said "there's going to be a fight, or there's going to be a ranger". The ranger arrived quickly and promised to handle it. Apparently he handled it, because we didn't see the young guys after the 7th hole. Mysteriously, 2 rangers happened to show up on 18 as my group was finishing up. It was a lovely day of golf.
Exceeded expectations
I have not played the Meadows in several years. The course was in way better shape than I remembered it. I thought the front had some fun/unique holes and was scoreable. the back a little longer. I have recommended it to my group of friends in Holland.
Better course map
Loved the course, fairways are like greens. My only negative… for a first time player the scorecard map was very inadequate to identify or estinate distance to some of the hazards. Definitely benefits from the use of a golf/gps app. Very strategic and tricky course.
