Stonehedge North Course at Gull Lake View Golf Club and Resort
About
Situated in the beautiful lake region of southwest Michigan, Gull Lake View Golf Club offers five scenic championship courses. The quality and variety offered by the courses and their convenient location less than three hours from Detroit, Toledo, and Chicago, have made Gull Lake a favorite destination for golfers from all over the Midwest, Great Lakes, and even parts of Canada. It is also only about an hour from Grand Rapids, Lansing, and Fort Wayne. Stonehedge North is the newest of the five courses. The diverse layout combines wide-open holes that play across grassy, windswept meadows with forested holes that feature dramatic elevation changes. The golf course consists of six par 3s, par 4s, and par 5s each, which also makes it an excellent scoring course for all skill levels.

Golfer Reviews
Stunning beauty
Beautiful course, very challenging. Groomed to perfection.
Six of each.
Six parr threes, six parr fours, and six par fives make for an interesting round of golf. The course is in great shape and a challenge to play. The cranes with their little ones was an added bonus.

Great local golf course but slow putting greens....
The course was in great condition - fairways etc. but we were so disappointed in the speed of the greens. They were in good shape but a bit bumpy and extremely slow. I realize we've had quite a bit of moisture this spring but this isn't the first time playing Stonehenge where the greens have been slow.m not sure I will play it again.

The course is very challenging as it has 6,6 and 6 ... 6 par 3's, 6 par 4's and 6 par 5's.
The course is very well maintained and favors the longer hitter. Greens are very well manicured and quite quick. Course is also quite scenic and has wild life roaming around on it. Saw deer plus a pair of Sand Hill Cranes with 4 young ones.

Great course in southwest Michigan
Stonehedge north is a great track. Course was challenging but fair. Will golf here as many times as possible. Never disappointed with the Scott owned courses. Got a great deal on golfnow which is a bonus.
Better be hittin em straight
Nice hilly layout that plays further than the published yardage due to terrain. I usually look for about 6500 yards, but the green tees at 6180 was plenty of challenge. Course is in great shape and they work hard to blow the fall leaves off the fairways. That being said, prepare to lose about 6 balls in the rough. Fortunately, you'll probably find 10. We did. No water hazards on the course but plenty of bunkering. All holes play fair except 17, where a giant oak tree blocks 3/4 of the fairway. Stay left on that one. Ps, bring your own snack as two hotdogs, two chips and one soda set us back $15
Beautiful Course - In great Shape
Perfect fairawys and greens.Narrow fairways off the tees...accuracy counts at this course.. Large greens with undulating surface...better be below the hole!..Five sets of tees..Don't even consider the blue tees unless you are a 10 Hcp or below with a 230+ average drive. The narrow fairawys reward the accurate driver..just a little off line and you will have trees to contens with on your second shot.Geens are well guarded with lots of hazards around all the greens.
A joy to play. One of the 5 courses in the Gull Lake View group and all of them are in great shape and cut through natural terrain
A Must play
Ed Parr
could have been
first 9 holes took 1h 50m, my 4-some caught up to several 2-somes at the 8th hole, back nine took 3h. the people behind us gave up on the 16th hole. no Marshals to speed up play or beverage cart out on a great Sunday.
senic close to town
rolling hills, some water, well groomed. seemed in wild, as no houses bordering the course only recommendation is get an aerator for the water holes, to remove pond scum, and mosquitoes
Great Course
It has been over ten years since I have played the North course. It was all I remembered. It has 6-5's , 6-4's and 6-3's on the 18.
Hidden gem
Excellent tract for the money, play the back tees to be able to hit driver more often, but tight landing zones. Very wet (raining) when we arrived staff put us in a holding pattern until lightning cleared the area - appreciated that! Planning on playing the sister course (North) next weekend.
One of Kamalazoos finest.
Probably one of the top courses in the area. Manicured grass, two seperate club houses with food and a challenging course. The staff was very friendly and happy. Excellent place to golf.
Gull Lake Delivers!
Just a great experience! Every aspect was fantastic.
A very good golf course
We played both the north and the south course. The Northcourse is more links style course on the front with more scenery and Rollinghills on the back. The course was in great shape but we enjoyed the South course much more.
A must play
I have played great courses for many years but this was one of the best. This course was in excellent shape, beautiful scenery and was very difficult. The elevation changes were great
Well manicured fairways and greens.
This couse was very enjoyable to play. Some tight fairways smaller greens, very receptive greens and really nice course.
Great Course!
This course has a great layout, three par 3s, three par 4s and three par 5s. Nice big greens, always in great condition, holes positioned to be somewhat challenging.
