Beautiful golf course
Best course I've played in Michigan, tough small greens, intimidating water on many holes, a beautiful challenge. Prices are budget minded and a real good deal as a memb of Golfnow app. I'll be back again and again.. this course is very well kept.
I would only suggest having a ranger to speed play as some 4somes won't let a faster single player pass them. I skipped hole 9 to get to the 10th tee before the slow group and made the round in 4 hours... A bit lengthy timeframe to play 17 holes only because of slow play in front of myself..

Challenging layout. Worth every penny. Upnorth feel for sure. Hole 10 my favorite.
Super slow play
Pace of play was the worst I’ve seen. It took us 4 1/2 hours to play13 holes. At that point we were so frustrated we quit the round. Not once during our round did we ever see a course ranger.

Beautiful course!
Super-friendly staff, beautiful course, friendly golfers, and great pace. I enjoyed the entire course (except hole 18 because I don’t hit far enough to clear the water). Great time with friends!!

2nd time I played this course. Great layout, awesome greens. Probably the best greens I have putted all year. That includes a trip to Harbor Shores. We played quickly, but I had to rate them as average for pace of play. We were first out after a most of the morning downpour. When we got to 10 a 4-some hade started teeing off and actually pulled away to the forward tees for the rest of the group to hit. No biggie, we decided to skip hole 10 and went to 11. Caught another group on 11 green. That group graciously waved us through on 12. Clear sailing after that. The course has a big sign on 10 telling players that groups coming off 9 have the right away. so apparently starting on the back is acceptable. Nine green is so far away from 10, no way a group could know you are on your way. Great staff, great course, but allowing golfers to start on 10, takes it down a little.
Greens very well maintained. Not over busy and was able to play at my own pace. Fantastic value
Bday Round
We made our reservation via the app and had no issues. Once we arrived at the course the lady was a bit rude that we were paired with a single player and her words were “I don’t care what u do, the app paired u together” she was not very helpful and put off that we booked via out golf app.
Course was very green and well maintained for late July, and love the layout
