Dunham Hills Golf Club
About
Dunham Hills Golf Club is situated amidst rolling hills and mature trees. The course is a demanding, but fun test of your skills. The topography presents challenging elevation changes throughout the course but accurate shots will be rewarded with level lies. The undulating fairways and lightning fast greens provide a variety of different shot options that will please the skilled shot-maker. Be prepared to utilize every club in your bag. Accuracy is essential on every hole in order to avoid the unpleasant lies that lurk beneath the hardwoods and pines but the trick is to keep the ball on the fairway. The layout opens with a tree-lined par 4 that is representative of the entire golf course. This tricky hole features a single bunker placed in front of a green that is sloped left to right.

Well worth playing
Set in the rolling hills of the far northwest Detroit area, this course offers great conditions and a challenging, but fun, layout. The front 9 features more gently rolling terrain and the back nine gets downright hilly. Greens are fast and have a good amount of slope to them which makes hitting putts from above the hole a real test of your skills. BEWARE - they do not follow the traditional red, white, blue tee box system. Instead the scorecard is labeled white, blue and black. BUT, the signs at the holes still say red, white and blue. I played the first 3 holes from the "white" tees only to then realize they were really red tees on any other course. Messed up my scorecard big time. Very annoying.
Challenging but a great golf course.
The fairway and green are very tough, but enjoyable to play.
The course is in great condition.
Best course in Livingston County
Golf course is in great shape. Greens are fast and firm, but the truest greens in southern Michigan. The best golf course in Livingston County.
Nice wooded course
Played here for the first time and was reasonably impressed. The greens rolled nicely. There are plenty of trees that do not present too much trouble.
A real challenge from the tips!
A real nice golf course for the traveling or entertaining businessman.
Great condition
The course played like a links course causing the golfer to adjust shots to the different lies. The greens were excellent and were stimped at about 10. Downhill puts were a real challenge. Overall, the course was an excellent challenge from the blue tees.
Beautifuland the greens super fast.
We will return with friends. The price was great and probably the best course we have played all year,
Challenging track for all levels and well maintained.
Always loved Dunham Hills and it never disappoints. Took another first timer and they loved it. Course especially difficult when windy or moist. Can't beat the value and we played it in 3 hours 30 min.
New favorite course
Can't beat this course for the $20 golf now price. Course was in great condition, challenging and the staff were very friendly.
Outstanding Course
I've played here a few times and have never seen this course in better condition. The greens were very slick but putted true. I will definitely come back more than once this year.
Great course conditions however the 1st & 10th tee boxes were not marked very well.
We had trouble finding the 1st and 10th tee boxes. They are not very well marked. The course itself was in great shape and very challenging.
challenging track
very challenging course. rolling fairways. emphasis on accuracy. any slight miss and you are blocked out by trees on every hole. greens were slowish but in good condition. rest of course in good shape as well. must use course management on this course, not just grip it and rip it.
Tough but fair
Very nice layout and is extremely challenging. Most of your approaches come from uneven lies and or semi blind shots. The greens are very quick with undulations that can be difficult to read. But I enjoyed playing it and will do so again.
Tough course, great greens
Course can play long and the hilly fairways prove even more challenging. Greens were in pristine condition however the course does back-up to an extremely slow pace of play especially during weekday twilite.
Great course for a great value!
Greens are the best in the area. Very true and the speed is fast without being ridiculous. The course is cut out of rolling terrain and very well maintained, bunkers are well maintained and easy to hit out of. I love the traditional tree lined fairways! A must play!!
Greens in great shape
Greens rolled fast and true even after light rain. What seemed to be wide open fairways became uphill, downhill and side hill lies. I had not played this course in over a year as the greens were not in good shape the last time out but was definitely pleased to see onditions had improved.
One of My Favourites
I am from Windsor but have played almost exclusively in Michigan this year and so far, my favorite courses to play have been 3 up at Boyne and Dunham Hills. I really like the layout, the condition of the course and the greens have been terrific. Quick and smooth. I have really enjoyed the quiet and solitude and enormous number of trees lining the holes/course. Played Dunham July 1st and it was sad to see a large number of trees down but there didn't appear to be any that would impact the enjoyability or playability of the course. My wife and will definitely be back to Dunham a few more times and will bring others with us.
very nice golf course
the greens were in great shape and very fast. course is challenging but fair.
Difficult course.
We've played here in the past.It is always in great condition. The greens are some of the fastest around but smooth as glass.Hard to score but a great looking course!
