Dunham Hills Golf Club is situated amidst rolling hills and mature trees. The course is a demanding, but fun test of your skills. The topography presents challenging elevation changes throughout the course but accurate shots will be rewarded with level lies. The undulating fairways and lightning fast greens provide a variety of different shot options that will please the skilled shot-maker. Be prepared to utilize every club in your bag. Accuracy is essential on every hole in order to avoid the unpleasant lies that lurk beneath the hardwoods and pines but the trick is to keep the ball on the fairway. The layout opens with a tree-lined par 4 that is representative of the entire golf course. This tricky hole features a single bunker placed in front of a green that is sloped left to right.

We had a great time!

Play was slow due to Father's Day weekend. Lots of slopes and hills. It is a challenging and very fun course. Good time had by all.

Challenging and a great value

The course is in excellent shape. Greens are large, fast and putts roll true. Most of the course is rolling hills with elevation changes from tee to green. It's a challenging course but not unfair. Thoroughly enjoyed the course and will continue to go back. Local knowledge, especially of the greens is certainly helpful!

This course is always apleasure to play.

The course is very challenging ,requiring good shots off the tee and well placed approach shots to the green. The greens were very fast and very well maintained. I love the elevation changes that course offers. I have played the course twice this season and even though it is a long drive from my home I would gladly make the trip again.

Nice course

Dunham Hills is one of my favorite courses. Mainly because of the big pretty trees. You can get in trouble easily since the fairways seem narrow with a lot of trees & hills that might run your ball into the rough or trees. This course is worth playing but kind of expensive with hardly any deals to get?

well kept course

This course must get a great deal of weekend golfers because the staff definitely did not give us the benefit of the doubt right from the get go. Maybe they assumed we were part of the loud, beer-fueled shotgun--which we were not.

Plenty of elevation changes, but a bit of a back-and-forth course in places. Very well kept. Excellent value through golfnow.com.

Not the toughest course, but not terribly easy either. Will play again.

Best greens in Michigan!!!

If you're looking for a challenge, you found it! Dunham is allways in pristine condition. Bring your A-game or you'll be hitting alot of shots under trees. The greens are allways in perfect condition, and fast, try not to be above the pins or you will be in trouble. We love this course, and play it atleast once a week. A++

Challenging Greens

The course was laid out well with some challenging tee shots and approach shots. Greens are very fast. You always want to be below the hole, as I found out from experience and multiple 2-3 putts as the ball traveled by from putting above the hole.

The greens were in great shape for April

My only complaint was with the tee markers and the score card. They did not match up

Stay below the holes on the greens or 3 putts are the norm

Course was in wonderful shape for time of year and the greens were very fast which is not a good thing because of the slopes. The pace of play was horrible as they allowed a group of nine to go off as a foursome and fivesome and they all thought they were putting for thousands of dollars. Come on it is April and this course has severe greens that make for some bad putts. There was a storm coming in and we should have easily made it but due to pace of play we got sprinkled on right on the last hole. Need to manage pace of play better and not allow fivesomes. Just make sure to stay under the pins or expect a long day on the greens.

Nice course, bring your A game.

Great course for the money. Very well maintained fairways and greens. Very challenging, not many flat lies anywhere on the course. Don't have to hit it long but you need to be accurate. Dislike: Few holes had blind spots from the tees where you'll need to pay close attention to the group ahead.
Will add this to my list of regular courses to play.

Great greens!

Greens might be the best i have played in michigan! Very hilly and classic layout. Good mix of holes with some being tighter than others. Most are tree lined by trees that have been there for years and have grown very large. Hit it straight and you will score very well here. 14th hole rated as one of the toughest in the metro area. Would play more often if it wasn't so far away.

Always Good...Great for November in Michigan

I always enjoy Dunham Hills - I took a couple guys along that had never played it before - we were all extremely impressed with condition of course for mid-Nov. Leaves had been cleared and greens were superb. Excellent value at GolfNow rates.

One of my favorite courses in the area

Greens are usually fast and roll true. Fairways can be a bit tight on some holes. Really enjoy some of the holes from the back tees. Nice views, rolling hills and tree lined fairways. Only complaint I have is that you can get balls coming at you from all directions on a few holes as the fairways run right next to each other. Still one of my favorite courses in the area that offers a nice challenge to those looking for it.

I am very satisfied with this course and would recommend to others.

I've been playing golf at this coure for a long time, even I had to drive longer distance than other courses nearby.
This course is very well designed in terms of layout of each hole (distance, difficulty) and located at a very beautiful
surrounding environments. Usually, the course is well maintained, such as fairway and green condition.
The office staffs are very friendly and work very efficient for check in.

Very good overall, but slow play pace tendencies.

Very nice course, but it has been very busy every time I went, and pace of play always seems to be very slow, especially behind club members! Staff is very nice and cooperative, but I cannot say the same thing about the members that golf there.
