The North at Hartland Glenn Golf Course

This was my second time playing here, but it has been several years in between. I don't remember the first time much at all, but I found this time to be noteworthy. It was threatening rain, so I don' know if that made people cancel or not, but the pace of play was fantastic. I let one guy who was playing faster than me play through and I never saw anyone else throughout the round. It did rain some, but I continued to play. The tee boxes were in decent shape - they show the use of recent rounds. The fairways were well maintained and were being managed while I was playing. The greens were terrific. Some decent hole locations made things challenging. Really enjoyed the course this time around. As always, I buy a Hot Deal on Golf Now and hope for the best. I play various courses, I like to try as many as I can, but I will definitely be going back to Hartland Glen. Practice putting green, driving range, clubhouse, pro-shop - they have everything you need.

Played the north course and it was in good condition. Rough was a bit long but you’re not supposed to be there so just have to deal. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Only complaint I would have is rough is a little thick other than that amazing course to play at

First time playing course, don’t know why people gave such bad reviews. Great course for the money. Nice greens, and challenging layout. Definitely will be back.

Even with the golf now deal it wasn’t worth the money to play here. Weeds in every fairway, dirt patches on the greens and poorly designed course layout.

After many years of golfing here it’s time to give up on this course. Booked 18 for the north side, once again shoved me off the south side instead. Even for early season the fairways and greens were brutalized. Clearly did 0 end of year maintenance last year. Won’t even get started into how they stack their tee sheets. Will never be back, don’t care how cheap it is.

I have played here twice now. Very happy with the course. Nothing about the course is 10/10, but nothing about the course is bad or below average. Its just an all around solid course. The greens are real good, fairways are nice, tee boxes were in good shape. Course design was interesting and fun. Staff was friendly, will be playing here again many more times.

Course is fair for the average golfer but the pace of play was slow the front nine. I would definitely play the course again.

Pros: Excellent staff, very friendly. That's about it.

Cons: We played the south course, layout was terrible because of overhanging tress off the tee. The course was filled with water in every hole from a rain that was 3 days ago. Any decent course will drain off completely in hours. Sand traps were filled with water. Green were practically flat. You can put from 50 feet and the ball will go like a putt putt golf course. Grass was obviously not cut, we lost at least 5 balls on the first cut of rough. If you are not in the fairway, you will not find your ball. 2 feet off the fairway and you won't find your ball.
