Lots of repairs needed
First time playing and was the first one out. Greens were serviceable, fairways were in really bad shape in places, and were sprinklers were on the first two holes. South course far worse off than north course. Wouldn't play unless a hot deal or with my young kids who are learning to play.
South Course Pavement
Horrible is almost an understatement. The course was dry, hard and bare spots everywhere. Greens were actually pretty decent...Getting there from the T was terrible even if you were in the (what they call) fairways.
It needs water and grass seed bad!!!!
Good greens, rest of course not in good shape
The speed and overall condition of the greens made it playable. The rest of the course is not in good condition. The layout of the course is pretty pleasant. The lack of access to the clubhouse/restaurant/bathrooms was unusual, even given the Covid situation.
Course condition
I understand it's mid-summer in August however the course at Heartland Glen South was in such poor condition fairway shots were akin to hitting off of hard pack or cart path and bunker shots if you were unfortunate enough to land in one were no different. I've golfed here about a half a dozen times this year and while early spring the course seem to be maintained much better it seems they have not done much to maintain the course since then.
Affordable price
Played 18 holes at $14 including cart.
Course layout is very nice, but fairway is very firm, lost few balls which would been at fairway but ball rolled crazy ended up lost ball into woods.
Great price and nice greens rest of course in rough shape.
Greens were in great shape. Fairways were in really bad shape. Entire course was really dry and hard grass was in bad shape except greens.
Nice coarse
It’s a pretty playable course.Course is in great condition. They are setup well for COVID.I
Horrible Experience
I arrived 15 minutes before my tee time - was informed that all tee times had been cancelled for the remainder of the day - apparently due to rain that had previously come through. Was told that all golfers were notified, however I did not receive notification. I was informed that the course had notified GN that the booking was cancelled due to weather. When I went on-line to cancel the reservation, it indicated that I was not able to cancel the reservation.
Always love playing Hartland Glen
Always love playing Hartland Glen I really like both sides on Hartland Glen both north and south. The south was designed by George Duke. There’s been a lot of changes over the years that I made it slightly more friendly golfer wise. You don’t have to work the ball a whole lot. I do recommend that they shave the trees on 15 at least on the left side is you have to hit a dead street or it’s over. Other than that the course is very fair. The course conditions are really improved over the last year. So good recommendation golf courseQ
