Golfer Reviews
Well maintained course.
We always enjoy playing at Highland Hills. The people are great and the course was in very good shape for this time of year.
Chuck
It is a somewhat difficult course when you take into account the hilliness. The pace of play was OK and all other aspects of the course was friendly. Fairways are reasonably wide, not many sand traps, but you have a few water hazards that need to be negotiated.
CJK
Course was in pretty good condition, very hilly course, but fun to play.
Where is #15?
Several blind shots where you have no idea where the flag is. Fairways in good condition. Hole 15 has an abrubt turn. Pretty rough getting up to #18, on a barren hill. In general good.
Poor condition.
Hitting off hard dirt on many tee boxes. Patchy greens. Easy to lose balls in rough (in play) because the grass is full of weeds and white clover that hide balls. Many blind shots off the tee.
Never again
We played twice in two years. The first time we noticed the condition of the course and gave them the benefit of the doubt they were short staffed due to Covid. None of those issues were addressed and the course was in worse shape this year.
