Chemung Hills Golf Club
About
Established in 1927, Chemung Hills Golf Club is one Livingston County's oldest courses. The classic design has withstood the test of time beautifully and it is still considered one of the area's toughest public courses. The layout stretches across lush, rolling hills that are dappled with mature trees. Chemung Hills is known almost as much for the beautiful scenery as it is for the challenging design, which is characterized by its elevation changes. The ups and downs on the course range from subtly tricky to dramatic and intimidating. The layout has a player-friendly mix of short and mid-length holes, even all of the par 5s are reachable. Though you may not need length, your shots will need to be straight and accurate. You'll face blind shots on several holes. Strong iron play will be generously rewarded on this tough golf course.

Enjoyable course
Got rained out... They gave a 9 hole pass.
Course is pretty good. Later in the day so mosquito's weren't awful but bad enough. ALWAYS WEAR REPELLANT HERE!!! Fairways are lined with trees, gotta control driver.
Pretty good course.
This course is a blast to play!
Chemung is a true gem that you must discover at some point in your golf endeavors! The course is super challenging, and has the right mix of dog-legs, bunkers, and water hazards! The putting greens are pristine, which truly makes the game feel like you're training to go Pro.
Bug spray is a must
1. Mosquito's were horrible.
2. Sand traps have rocky sand and pretty packed down so they're not the best to hit from.
3. Fun par 3 holes
4. Nice elevation changes for big drives
5. Water comes in to play but not too much
6 a couple tight fairways to navigate
Good course overall
Great round of Golf @ Chemung Hills!
The staff and condition of the course is always top-notch! Certainly a favorite of mine in Livingston County area!
My Go To Course!
Really enjoy this course. You can get great deals if you watch their team times, so the golfing is reasonable and this course is a really nice value for the money! Very laid back and enjoyable. Wish i still lived nearby.
Mixed bag but worth it
The bad? Hard as a rock tee boxes. Too many Short par 4s (300/or less). Some boring dog leg rights.
The good? Every par 3 is pretty unique and fun. One is in a blind bowl downhill, one is at the top of a valley. Elevation for some big drives. Its a basic but pretty course... Enough rough and heather and trees without being too much. Just enough water to challenge you as well (especially with the distance to the water ALWAYS being in that 200-230 range.
I will be back.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review. We would love to know how we can earn those last two stars next time! Thanks for playing Chemung Hills Golf Club.
Slow
We teed off shortly after 11 and waited. On every. Single. Hole. Signage to holes was terrible, leaving us wondering which way to the next hole. We even went the wrong way after we finished 18 trying to get back to the clubhouse! The course was in decent shape, the greens were a challenge, but I doubt I will play here again.
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass on your feedback to the team. Thanks for visiting Chemung Hills Golf Club, and we hope to see you again in the future.
