About
Established in 1927, Chemung Hills Golf Club is one Livingston County's oldest courses. The classic design has withstood the test of time beautifully and it is still considered one of the area's toughest public courses. The layout stretches across lush, rolling hills that are dappled with mature trees. Chemung Hills is known almost as much for the beautiful scenery as it is for the challenging design, which is characterized by its elevation changes. The ups and downs on the course range from subtly tricky to dramatic and intimidating. The layout has a player-friendly mix of short and mid-length holes, even all of the par 5s are reachable. Though you may not need length, your shots will need to be straight and accurate. You'll face blind shots on several holes. Strong iron play will be generously rewarded on this tough golf course.

Good time
The course was in great shape. Would play it again. Starter John was a great guy. All starters should be like him. All in all great time , great course , great server in the Resturant.

Excellent course conditions with the front 9 holes tree lined with a challenging course layout.
Golfnow Refused to give Raincheck
Rained out at hole 12. Golfnow refused to give us a raincheck despite the course telling us they would give us one. They claimed we would have been done with the round by the time the rain started.. we had just started the back nine.

Fun course out near Howell and worth the extra time driving
Fun course, good layout, some challenging stuff for sure, not expensive, nice little bar with food and while it is a bit further out from the normal places along 696/96 worth the drive now and then for sure, esp with the lower prices out there

Good course to use all the clubs in your bag. Play was fast snd enjoyable.
Chemung Hills is a challenging course from the back tees
Narrow fairways puts a premium on club selection. Greens were extremely fast today.
