About
Established in 1927, Chemung Hills Golf Club is one Livingston County's oldest courses. The classic design has withstood the test of time beautifully and it is still considered one of the area's toughest public courses. The layout stretches across lush, rolling hills that are dappled with mature trees. Chemung Hills is known almost as much for the beautiful scenery as it is for the challenging design, which is characterized by its elevation changes. The ups and downs on the course range from subtly tricky to dramatic and intimidating. The layout has a player-friendly mix of short and mid-length holes, even all of the par 5s are reachable. Though you may not need length, your shots will need to be straight and accurate. You'll face blind shots on several holes. Strong iron play will be generously rewarded on this tough golf course.

Shotgun start is not good for pace of play. way more waiting than playing golf. Staff were not friendly on hole 1
New Fav Course!!
Super scenic, turtles and wildlife everywhere, lots of challenge. We had such a great time. Staff was excellent, greens and course were in excellent shape… definitely coming back!!

Chemung hills is a great course that will challenge all golfers with a variety of different skills needed to play well here.
Challenging but Fair
This is a great course that provides a variety of holes that are very different from each other. Great layout with nice greens that role true. Definitely some birdie opportunities but also some holes that require very accurate tee shots to set you up for shots into greens . The 3 par fives are all from elevated tees which is nice, number 10 is the best view on the course. I highly recommended playing this course!
In The Rain
We had a great deal! Unfortunately it rained on us but even so the course was beautiful and the green were challenging. I will definitely be back on a sunny day!
Terrible pace of play everything else was nice
Made it through 12 holes in 3.5 hours as there was a major slow down on the back 9. Me and another solo who teed off ahead of me ended up skipping 13-16 and bypassed about 6 groups of 4 between these holes. 17 18 we still had to wait to hit but finished in 4.5 hours skipping 4 full holes.
A Gem
Very nice track. Greens are excellent. Staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Will absolutely play here again.
