Hawk Meadows at Dama Farms Golf Club

About
Hawk Meadows at Dama Farms is worth the short drive from central southeast Michigan. It offers a challenging round for an affordable price with something for golfers of every skill level. The seemingly mild course is 6,377 yards from the back tees, but it's not to be underestimated. Though water doesn't come into play much, there are other strategically placed hazards to keep the game interesting. For beginners, the golf course is relatively open and also quite forgiving but to stay out of trouble you'll have to keep it in the fairway. The course is gentle enough for junior players but at the same time it's nice for a quick round for more advanced players who are looking for a casual game with a few challenging holes.

Course is ok
The course is ok. Not a real challenge. Fairways could be cut shorter not much difference from the rough to fairway from a distance. No water to drink on the course. Have the houses but no water. Greens are ok a bit slow. For the price not a bad deal. A good course for women.
Not good
Extremely slow. Jam the tee sheet as much as possible without updating online availability. Was playing as a single and saw online every tee time was open and available. Got to the course and tee sheet was jammed up. Would not recommend playing here unless you like waiting between every shot

hidden gem
You will like this course it is on farm land, lots of
wild vegetation, ponds and, properly sized
fairways. It is just plain playable without awkward lies or gimmicks, out in the country but close.
Has a driving range, practice green and 1/4 lb.
hot dogs
Fun course
Fun Course, Very hot, cold water every few holes. Stated out as a 2 some, kind of slow, hooked up for a 4 some. Play and speed improved. Best hot dog ever at turn.
Good course for daily play
My husband and I booked tee time on GN. Great value for this golf course. Course is set up so that you can recover from bad shots. So if you don’t hit everything straight down the fairway you can still have a pretty decent round at this golf course. The grass could have been cut shorter and the greens maintained a little better. The course could play a little tougher if they would roll out the greens and cut them a little shorter.
Overall this was a positive experience and the scenery was enjoyable. We would definitely play this course again
Tricky Long
Have played here often, enjoyable course for the money. Friendly staff every time we play, just a good time in the country.
Day at the beach
Course in great condition good pace of play and great value. Small greens with bunkers strategically placed will give your sand wedge a workout.
Great course
Very impressive, the course was in great condition!
Staff is great too!
Ball eater
Tight fairways, thick rough and small greens Keep you going to shorter clubs on front nine. Greens run true, should 2 putt at worst.
Fun track for all levels
We have played here a few times, always find the staff friendly. The course is usually in pretty decent shape, greens are shaggy, but putt true. All in all we enjoy paying the courses in the Highland, Howell area for these very reasons. And yes, we will play it again before years end.
Bad booking
Our tee time was at 1:07 the course had a outing with a shotgun start at 2:30 the outing took up the course was only able to play 9 holes paid for 18. Don't understand how the course and golf now can let you book a tee time knowing the course is over booked.
Nice Course
I really enjoyed playing here. The greens were a little slower than I'm used to, but they held very nicely and were true. The tee boxes, and fairways were a little long too, but that's just my opinion. I played from the blues (tips here) and it wasn't too long of a course, however it is right and is challenging. I will definitely have to come back.
Will play again
Nice course to play for the price and the people were very nice.
Value links
Never played before, fall rates, $15 and $6 six packs. Staff super friendly, course in gread shape for mid October. Not super challenging but well laud out with 4 sets of tees. Will be back!
